Zierlein rates him as a center only prospect. A little short and light to play guard. 6-1, 302 doesn't cut it for OG anymore. He's quick and strong, but attitude and football smarts seem to be his strong point. Built for the wide zone scheme. It looks like day 3 is our day for gung ho great attitude football players, more than physical talent and potential.

He’s incredibly intelligent and very agile. There is a lot about how he researches his opponents to find five or six moves that they struggle against and uses them in a variety of ways.

It makes it possible to move on from Tretter. I also think it’s possible that they try Harris (or maybe Tretter?) at Guard. My guess, though, is that he sits behind Tretter this season and starts next season.

I agree he is a center only. He is a high end backup interior player, and if the other RG players aren't working out the Browns can move Tretter to RG and give Harris a shot.

Admittedly don’t know anything about him. However I just had Toruń an errand for the Mrs‘ and had ESPN radio on to follow the draft. Jim Nagy was one of the draft analysts on and they circled back to talk about this pick. A few things that he said that stood out to me after notknowinf a thing about Harris.

Jim said:
“my favorite pick of the draft, hands down”
“a lineman that is fun to watch, which seems weird to say. He loves mauling people”
“the Browns just got their starting center in the 5th round, incredible pick”
“great value out of the Browns”

Again, I know nothing about Harris but the way Nagy was raving about him made me excited for the possible upside.

Browns are going full on to break the stereotypes of offensive linemen.

Harris is really, really freaking good in the ZBS. Won't bully but he will make his block and is extremely athletic. Could play any of the 3 interior spots.
