The Donovan Peoples-Jones Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We got Nick Chubb for that
I appreciate a high quality celebration

What would happen if Nick Chubb and Kevin Stefanski did a celebration dance together? I believe the nature of the universe would require that space-time continuum distort around the celebratory pair so that all an outsider could observe is a slight chin nod and nothing else. They might be dancing their asses off right now, for all we know. Only Neil deGrasse Tyson's pocket calculator and Stephen Hawking's wheel chair bound ghost know for sure.

DPJ isn't going to give up his receiver reps to Schwartz easily. I think he has moved past KharDarel Hodge for offensive snaps and is going to put up a fight for third/fourth receiver play because of that physicality.

People Jones *should* develop into one of our best red zone threats with that size and leaping ability...

I watched the highlights a week or so back. I recommend at least doing that, was fun seeing OBJ running wild all over them.

Death, taxes, and OBJ shitting on the Cowboys.

He also has speed...not Schwartz speed, but Schwartz ran a 10.07 as a senior in high school.

I think we are sleeping on DPJ. I think he becomes a hood WR, great blocker, speed, will learn to run routes, ect.

I think the fact the Browns didn't take a WR until the 3rd round and went for a guy who is probably going to be a deep slot should tell you the Browns feel very comfortable with DPJ in the future.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that DPJ becomes a starter in a year when OBJ and Landry leave. Hell, I MIGHT (depending on his development this year) be okay with cutting both OBJ and Landry for DPJ and Higgins if we could really use that money elsewhere.

Higgins is on a one year deal, i know he likes it here, but not sure he is a long term piece, but he does have chemistry with Baker.

OBJ is on his last year here imo, his money will be better served elsewhere, not that he isnt worth his money, just elsewhere.

Landry I am hoping is a restructure and extend, I like his chemistry with Baker, and his ability to get open. I wouldnt be shocked if he is gone sooner than later though.

I think DPJ can be a starter when OBJ is gone,, not OBJ AND Landry, but i think we are just arguing semantics on all of that and pretty much agree.

I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, DPJ is easily a WR3 on any other offense besides ours. He flashed more than enough as a rookie - his problem is simply getting opportunities.

He might be the preferred option to WR3 instead of Higgins.

Baker and DPJ have some really good chemistry too and DPJ has legit speed.

I will never understand why some Browns fans are suggesting getting rid of Landry anytime soon. I love OBJ, but I get that. I like Hollywood, but get that, too. But Landry should be a guy folks *want* to keep until *he* wants to go. The dude is Mack Wilson, if Mack made a Pro Bowl and had talent.
