IDGAF about contention. Just want a fun team and get to the playoffs. Can't even think contention until we have a top 15 player, so not worth worrying about.

I had fun once Bickerstaff took over, so I'm good. Don't need Hayward to enjoy being a cavs fan
Hornets got the best player in the draft but stuffed themselves with that Hayward contract

I think Hayward helps them for 2 years and then hurts them right when Ball starts getting to extension time

This is been a very excited offseason.

Lol at Ainge getting desperate. I give it two years before either one of his prized players wants out or he's fired.

I want a good fun team to watch too but trust me this team (as currently constructed) is not a playoff team! I see this team in the lottery next year with a lot of cap space to make improvements and then it will contend for a 7th or 8th spot.

I don't think anyone expects this team to be a playoff team.

I enjoy it for what it is. Unless the second coming is born in Akron or Cleve. This franchise will never sniff a championship team. No one wants to move to Cleve
But I enjoy watching the young team build. Followed the franchise since the first season. I do not expect much

Ive always heard the Cavs preach wanting to build a culture. I think they have never actually known how to do that. They have tried to pick up or keep vets or coaches to sustain or build a culture based off of other organizations or from the Lebron years.

I think Koby has stumbled into a potential foundation for a culture. I think they have seen the work that Sexton put in and internally they realize these are traits they should be trying to draft guys with. Okoro fits that bill and might be the second piece that can progress that draft strategy and culture. If it works then it's something that can be sustainable in a small market.

If they are able to identify these guys and draft them, the culture isn't built on a coach or a single player. It's something they should be able to reload with when they lose a player and maintain once they reach a certain level. Maybe it won't results in a championship but it could if the stars align and we have some luck on our side. I could definitely see it result in a consistent playoff team.

I think if we see Okoro do well, we might see a major shift going forward.

MLE money is probably what TT is worth. My guess is the Cavs were willing to pay him a little more but not much. If Drummond wasn't on the roster, TT probably would have gotten a better bid from the Cavs, like 15 million per year.

Go get Giles. Need a back up center since Drummond might not even be here after the trade deadline.

I'm so glad that the Cavs didn't bid on TT... I was in pure panic on the fact that i would have to watch a few more years of TT.

The only TT that is worth seeing on TV is the Contract Year TT, and I really don't respect that atittude
