2020 Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It sounds like Bickerstaff is not going to lose any sleep over the "tank for a higher pick or try to win them all" conundrum. He thinks they can steal an extra 4-5 wins just on more talented teams not being willing to match the Cavs toughness and intensity.

If the Front office wants to tank they will need to trade Drummond or Love.

Apparently, Sexton didnt crack ESPN's top 100 list. How does a player that scores almost 21 ppg not make the list is beyond me.
Agreed. The upside if any is that Sexton may be insulted initially and then inspired by the snub. Kind of like with the Rising stars game when he was snubbed, then he took his game to another level.

Meh I kinda like it that our guys are under the radar.
Honestly it could work out positively for the Cavs if Sexton is so underrated around the league. It would be nice to not overpay a guy for a change in order to keep him on the team.

I thought Andre was Boogie Cousins there for a minute. I don't think they look anything alike, but something about his beard and the headband.

Why does Windler's face look like it is made of wax?

McGee is not yet in Cleveland, but is expected to join the team at some point soon. He’s currently in California, where a public health stay-at-home order was issued Tuesday because of the rapid spread of COVID-19 in that area. From the beginning, the Cavs have been understanding of his absence and while there’s still no word on whether he will play in the first exhibition game on Saturday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse against the Indiana Pacers, there’s also no rush.

“JaVale is a veteran,” Bickerstaff said. “He’s seen a lot and can pick up on things quickly. So that’s not really of a concern for us. It’s hard. We put in a ton of stuff.”

Porter, on the other hand, is entering his second NBA season and hasn’t played an NBA game since March 4. He needs experience and reps. In the short term, that’s a bigger setback.

The Cavs continue to work with Porter, his representation and the league, choosing to keep those off-court matters internal. The hope is to have him back soon, when the legal challenges are behind him and he can have a clean slate, but there are steps he needs to take and no specific date on when he will return to the team.
