2020 Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

And,the season will most likely have no fans..
That's the earliest date I've seen floated,,,the season starting a few days before Christmas means we could be seeing
our Cavs again within 2 months. I'm down for that!

They're targeting December 22 for the opener. We will see, next Friday. From, what I understand that's when the league and NBPA will make a decision for the upcoming season.

I hope it's true because we were robbed. The team was playing well under Bickerstaff and everyone wanted to see more under him.

It will be an insanely compressed offseason - free agency, trades, contract negotiations- if they intend to tip off 8-1/2 weeks from now.

The Cavs are on the road this week, working out Obi Toppin and others:

IF you can believe the quotes in the artice the cavs are seriously considering Toppin at 5 and wont let his defensive issues
(they may not view him as a liability on defense) stop them from taking him at 5.

I hope the Cavs are using Fedor as their smokescreen.

Yeah, they've been preaching about fixing the defense since Bickerstaff took over. They trade for Drummond hoping, the defense get better.

I really hope they don't draft Toppin because all that talk about fixing the defense would be for nothing. And,it will show me that they're not serious about taking that next step.

Whether,it be Deni,Okoro,Vassell or Okongwu,I rather them draft those four than Toppin. I'm not really high on Deni but I think he'll make a better defensive prospect than Toppin.

Drafting Toppin makes no sense at all.

Out of the bigs in the draft who have a decent long range shot, I would prefer Jalen Smith and may be even Reggie Perry over Obi Toppin.
