yea I agree, calling someone out on their use of "To" and "Too" is just ridiculous. No need for that crap. Anyway, move on for this stuff.

Get back on topic talking about the 2020 Election.

It was in response to someone baselessly claiming Biden is a pedophile. The post was deleted before most people got a chance to see it. There's certain words you just don't throw around that casually. At least with the current guy you have 20 some allegations of sexual misconduct to go off of. Joe said something idiotic and has since apologized, i don't think that makes him a bad person. trump is, at his core, a monster of a human being . . .

I don't think he's actually a pedo, or I really rather hope not, but those jokes are gonna keep rolling in because there's loads of photo's of "Creepy Joe" and a lot of them are w/ children. Hell, I've made the joke that Pedobear has endorsed Biden; I have a dark sense of humor though.

Not all these are kids, but neither is the Creepy Joe claim only against children:

I think he's probably someone who's physically expressive in his emotion and probably a very caring individual. Unfortunately, in this day in age, that gets you hung. Shit, you can't tell someone in the office that they look nice when they dress up w/o the threat of sexual harassment. I'd really rather we reject all the politically correct sensitivities and return to a time of common sense and decency but that seems a pipe dream. Tis the age of political misrepresentation and shit posting along partisan lines.

My take on Biden would remove the "probably" in your first sentence, but we largely agree. I also agree with you that barriers and tolerances regarding personal space have changed in the US.

I grew up in a culture (Greek) which emphasized physical interactions. Greece and other Mediterranean countries are generally defined as "contact cultures". You see this as well in South America and the Middle East.

It's early, things can change, etc. But - if you take the averages of the state polls, Biden is in a good position.

Hillary states + WI + MI + PA = Biden victory (obviously many other combos)

If Biden somehow pulls FL, forget it...

Again, it's early and it's a fickle electorate. Currently more paths to victory for Joe but it will probably be close.

Cannot and will not defend Biden's touchiness, as it especially comes off creepy with women and children.

But, to be clear, this is somehow, sadly, still not an area where Trump has an edge. At least Biden has never faced a pedophilia accusation:

Our country is so fucked up.

That's not even close to true.

Probably because that time you're talking about is mythical.

Tis the age of political misrepresentation and shit posting along partisan lines.
Okay that part is true.

You're either a creep or you're not a creep. I think the only people making the argument of which one is more creepy than the other just do it to try and take a moral highground that doesn't exist because it's really a binary matter, IMO.

That's why you guys don't get a rile out of the Trump supporters when you say, "ya but 25 to 1", when it came to misconduct charges. I think we agree on this, we went down this road a few weeks ago if I recall. :)

As for my statement about telling someone they look nice in the office and it's veracity? I stand by that 100%. That is completely true, I watched it occur. I was party to the conversation and heard the ENTIRE thing. The chick hated the owner and was looking for a way to get out. Someone paid her the compliment of looking very nice on a day she wore a dress in (which was not normal attire for her) and she took it to HR and used that as a grounds for leaving and being paid a sum of cash on the way out for it. This isn't some shit I read on the Internet, I watched it happen.

You can argue HR caved and should have fought it, but when you're a small business that type of lawsuit will kill you. You take your lumps and move on.

I feel like your standard in one thread for something being murder was actually getting a conviction, which I disagree with.

Here, your standard seems to differ.

I'm not going to debate the details of an event I have no personal knowledge of, but this personal anecdote doesn't prove your point. Sure, there are certainly people who act in bad faith and exploit the system, but that doesn't mean it's the norm, nor does it back up the hyperbolic idea that every compliment is a loaded harassment suit waiting to fire.

Sorry, I'm not following ya. Are you saying I have a double standard? Which one is that, if so?

I once got a write up for hostile work environment because a female coworker stopped in after a night out and I said she looked stunning. She didn't even cry to management, it was another coworker that overheard the conversation and got offended. Not disagreeing with you, but honestly we live in a time where even innocent comments between friends can turn into this kind of bullshit.

Trump has never been popular in Utah.

The Mormons have never been impressed by his protestations of religiosity.

And they loves them some Mittens.
