He wants Trump TV. Being the Republican Kingmaker appeals to him far more than being locked in the Presidential cage. The only problem is he would have to lose to do that and he also doesn't want that

Trump has started his attacks on Fox more for that reason than anything else imo. He wants to weaken Fox so he can swoop in with a rebranded OANN as Trump TV and replace them. (He'd prolly use OANN, maybe not. He might just start a new one but I kinda think it'll be OANN) It's good time to do it as Ailes is dead and Murdoch has been lessening his involvement lately.
I'm sure he does.

But he's deluded if he thinks that he won't have severe legal issues the second he is out of office.

But I really do hope he does play kingmaker and from his perch shits all over the RNC like so many pigeons on statues of Jeff Davis.

It is the worst possible thing that can happen to the GOP between 2021-2024.

I think Demmings has a real shot.

But I still think Harris the woman to beat.

I think it will be Harris. She has that Obama appeal to midwestern whites where she is the “right” black. And I know that is weird to say but I know how Midwestern whites think. Demmings is a step too far out of the comfort zone.

Are we putting general 2020 stuff in here, like Senate races?

Booker made a good challenge in Kentucky, but the projection is a McGrath win. I suppose the upside is her path to victory over McConnell is likely easier than Booker's would be. I'll take beating Mitch however it needs to happen.

You're not gonna win em all, but progressive challengers are growing stronger in every part of the country.

I would love this but, ultimately i think texas is 95% going to Trump. Because texas. Also i would be shocked if Georgia goes to Biden, i would still give that a 70%. I could realistically seeing the rest fall Biden's way, though Florida and Ohio are going to be tough.

All of that said. GO FUCKING VOTE.

Normally you would be right.

But I think TX can go Blue if there is record turnout. Things got close in 2018.

I think we will not see a very high GOP turnout to be honest. Perhaps not many moderate Republicans voting for Biden, but many will sit out.

I think GA is more likely to go Blue, doesn't necessarily need record turnout either. However, they have some real voter suppression to combat. Any GA number for Biden should deduct 1-2% as a function of intentional voter suppression.

This is that deep state stuff you hear about.
If I remember correctly, Bush was against him in 2016 as well.
The majority of Republicans in the country were against Trump in 2016 as well, until it turned out it was either the corrupt, imbecilic pile of shit... OR A DEMOCRAT!

I'd love to see Ranked-Choice start in the primaries, so that people can get used to it and we can start pushing it towards our GE's.

The GOP is getting ready for the rebrand.
I may be a little off here, but Joe Biden's version of being a liberal is closer to conservatism worldwide. Bernie Sanders is closer to average Liberalism (not extreme). Could the Conservatives rally around Joe and shift the party that way and push Liberals towards more of Bernie's politics?
