Time to make your predictions for the 2020 season...

Do you believe they will complete the 60 game regular season? — YES
Do you believe they will complete the playoffs and crown a WS champ? — Again, YES, but I believe this is closer to 50%, rather than 100%)

DivisionsWild Cards

AL East - NYY, TB*, Red Sox, Tor, Bal
AL West - Oak, HOU*, LAA, Tex, Sea

TB over Hou in WC,

Cle over TB

NL Central - StL, Mil*, Cubs, Cin, Pit
NL East - Wash, Atl*, Phi, Mets, Mia
NL West - LAD, SD, Rox, SF, Ari

Atl over Mil in WC
LAD over Atl, StL over Wash
StL over LAD

I am not a guy who thinks the Tribe wlll win the World Series every year , even if I typically believe they will be in the hunt. The Tribe is my pick to win it all in this condensed, wacky season. Good pitching, excellent defense, a few stars making plays, a little bit of luck will see them get it done!

feel free to add an MVP or Cy Youno if you like...
AL Lindor and Cole
NL Betts and Strasburg

‘Tis the season...But now have to revamp for 16...may have to pull names from a hat

1. Astros- AL West 1
2. Yankees- AL East 1
3. Indians- AL Central 1
4. Rays- AL East 2
5. Twins- AL Central 2
6. Athletics- AL West 2
7. Red Sox- AL East 3
8. Rangers- AL West 3

I want to fit the Angels in there but their pitching is a big question mark and I don't think 4 teams from the same division can realistically make it unless they absolutely clobber their NL counterpart and the 5th place division team.

#1 Astros over #8 Rangers in 2
#2 Yankees over #7 Red Sox in 2
#3 Indians over #6 Athletics in 3
#4 Rays over #5 Twins in 2

#1 Astros over #4 Rays in 5
#2 Yankees over #3 Indians in 4

#2 Yankees over #1 Astros in 6

1. Dodgers- NL West 1
2. Braves- NL East 1
3. Cubs- NL Central 1
4. Cardinals- NL Central 2
5. Mets- NL East 2
6. D'Backs- NL West 2
7. Nationals- NL East 3
8. Reds- NL Central 3

#1 Dodgers over #8 Reds in 3
#7 Nationals over #2 Braves in 3
#3 Cubs over #6 D'Backs in 2
#5 Mets over #4 Cardinals in 3

#1 Dodgers over #7 Nationals in 5
#3 Cubs over #5 Mets in 5

#1 Dodgers over #3 Cubs in 5

#1 Dodgers over #2 Yankees in 6

Made an assumption on reseeding after the Wild Card round and that the #2 division teams get the 4-6 seeds.

The possibility exists, and may even approach probability, that the AL top seed comes from the AL Central.

First, you have to list your own bottom feeders, those teams that you consider to have extremely little chance to compete, even in a truncated season.

My list would be KC, Detroit, Baltimore. Miami, Seattle, Pittsburgh, and San Francisco. Minny and the Tribe play twice as many of those teams as do NY or Houston.

Last year against teams in that group the Indians won over 75% of their gsmes. Maybe that wont happen again, but the odds of one of Minny or Clevelsnd doing it are reasonable. Now, if that team also wins the season series, even just 6-4, they should be in the drivers seat for the top seed. 6-4 doesnt sound like much, but a .600 winning percentage equals a 97 win season in a normal year.

If either team does that, they would have about 26 wins out of around 36 games. In a season featuring such unbalanced schedules, it might not be difficult to get from 26 wins with 24 to go to the best overall record...esp without any of those remaining against an elite opponent.

So, my WAG is that the winner of the season series with Minny will grab the #1 seed.

I predict the season will not be completed.

I'm thinking Tribe wins more then it loses..

More importantly they play 26 games total vs Detroit/ KC/ Pitts. I predict Tribe goes at least 18-8 in those 26 games...

I predict the season will not be completed.

With there being no fans involved, short of a few teams disappearing into the Bermuda Triangle, I don't see how it won't finish.

However, much crazier things are happening.
