Two out of three from the Cards ain't bad, especially with how Wainwright was throwing. We were lucky to win yesterday.
Like I said yesterday, I'm tired of watching the Indians get a run in the first inning and get shut out the rest of the way. Today it was two runs in the second and then...nothing. Yesterday Hosey hit a solo homer in the first and then nothing until the 12th. This is a very bad offensive team.
Civale had one bad stretch of five batters but otherwise pitched pretty well.
At least the Twins lost to Detroit. The Tigers beat Maeda - big surprise. The Tigers are on a roll having won 7 of 9, including three in a row from the Twins and 2 of 3 from the Indians.
On to KC for three games.
