2020 Series #11 Indians @ Cardinals, Aug. 28-30

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
yeah, when Molina gets caught off base ... he should know better to not wait on (or argue) an umpire call and then get back on base when the call is made by two of them. He was just frustrated/tired. They barely give him a break with all the games.

thought Molina would be spending the day with Berto playing cards somewhere - really surprised he was in there today

I heard he and Berto were supposed to go apple picking this afternoon.

Up a game over Chicago and 1.5 over the Twins...as both teams pitching failed them against bottom feeders.

After tomorrow we face the KC while they beat on each other. Looking a little farther we get the Twins after they play doubleheaders on a Friday and Tuesday, and then have two days off. They will need seven SPs in five days, which should be interesting.

Yeah, they need to come up with two spot starters for their games against the Tigers and Cardinals on the 4th and the 8th. Looking at the Indians series on Sep. 11-13, they could go with Maeda, Berrios, and Dobnak, their top three starters, in that order.

Dobnak has given up 20 hits in his last two starts. He got lit up big time by the Tigers yesterday. Maeda continues to roll along, though.

The Twins get Pineda back this week, but he will be on a pitch count for a while.

If the Indians keep the rotation on schedule, we would have Biebs-Clev-TMac for the Twins. But we could throw Plesac on somewhere, and end up with Civale-Biebs-Clev.

We follow up with two games vs the Cubs...after an off day...and that may have some impact on the rotation scheduling.

But I am guilty of getting way ahead of myself.

Lets just win today's game. Tomorrow will take care of itself.

Naquin staying red hot. He's single-handedly making the outfield relevant again.

Carlos got hosed on that check swing strike call.

lets see if Civale can find the bottom part of the zone - throwing his stuff belt high didnt seem to work last inning v one of the worst hitting teams in the bigs

and a balk call. sheesh. gonna be a tough one today

Another check swing given to Wainwright. pitcher like him doesnt need help

Double plays giveth...and double plays taketh away.
