The broadcasters said Kyrie got some boos when he came out on the court, which is ridiculous for what he did for us.

With that said... Team Petty should have told him we got him a GOAT and his ass was equally ungrateful.

Bulls are incredibly deep to have two key starters and several important reserves out and still be able to roll out this lineup. Incredible job of team construction
Caruso hasn't played in over four weeks so his minutes and impact may be limited.

DeRo vs. Okoro will be a good matchup to watch along with Garland vs. White and Allen vs. Vucevic. Mobley and Markkanen should have big advantages against career journeyman Alfonzo McKinnie and the rookie Ayo Dosunmu. The Cavs bench should dominate given the Bulls are short-handed with four rotation players out and that doesn't count Patrick Williams.

Spurs guard Bryn Forbes is considered to be available on the trade market, league sources tell Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

According to Scotto, multiple teams have expressed some interest in Forbes, including the Nuggets.

Forbes, 28, has value as a floor-spacer, having hit 41.7% of his three-point attempts this season in San Antonio, right in line with his 41.3% career rate. He spent last season with the Bucks, knocking down a career-high 45.2% of his threes and averaging 10.0 PPG in 70 regular season games (19.3 MPG) for the eventual NBA champions.

I'd like to pick this guy up for a second round pick or somebody like Pangos.
Well, Forbes got traded to the Nuggets, so much for that.

The Nuggets are hopeful Forbes can improve their 3-point shooting. Forbes ranks third in 3-point field goal percentage over the past four NBA seasons among players with more than 1,000 attempts, trailing only Brooklyn's Joe Harris and Philadelphia's Seth Curry.

So the Bulls rotation will look something like

Coby White
Alex Caruso
Derozan
Tyler Cook
Vucevic
Ayo D.
Troy Brown Jr
Tony Bradley
Alfonso McKinnie

No way we should lose. Sick Okoro on Derozen and let him make DD's life miserable.
should be a good game, DeRozan is a tougher cover for Okoro than someone like Harden or Irving, because Demar knows how to use his length to get a good look regardless of how tight you are in his airspace, where both Harden and Irving are more about staying down and forcing them to shoot over you. If you force Derozan (or Middleton or Booker) to shoot over you, they will and will make more than they miss.
Caruso is going to an intriguing matchup for Garland too, up until his health and safety stint he's been pretty great with the on-ball defense.
Finally: Vuc.
Interested to see how we do v a big load like Vuc. We've got to deal with him, but he's got to deal with Frobly in space too.

Bulls have a lot of players I respect. Guys like DeRozan and Caruso are consummate professionals.

Caruso is a big, extremely physical guard - not an ideal match for Garland.

Vucevic has been awful lately. He's a groundbound center whose only chance against Frobley is using his full arsenal of old man tricks. I think we'll see a ton of midrange jumpers from him.

I really wonder if the Cavs are even thinking about making a trade. Look at it this way - the

In the first game between these teams Vucevic had 18 points and 12 boards but was only 8-for-23 from the field. He was a -15 in 31 minutes. He was 1-for-7 on 3's.

Jarrett Allen was a +18 and scored 13 points on 9 shots.

yeah, he's been bad, really he's been bad for the Bulls since he got there. Interested to see if he tries to play through our bigmen. And I do love the idea of putting him in space v Mobley.
Bulls are desperate for a W, Cavs are on a mission to prove they're legit, should be a good one.

I wonder if the Cavs will seriously pursue any trades considering they are 1.5 games out of first place despite playing the NBA's toughest schedule and having the following key players missing games:

Sexton: 34 games missed
Okoro: 15
Osman: 12
Rubio: 11
Markkanen: 9
Mobley: 8
Love: 8
Allen: 7
Garland: 6

I'm not sure how they feel about Rondo and Goodwin playing 12 minutes per game in the playoffs. Or Stevens at shooting guard when Okoro needs a rest. I think they're OK with a frontcourt of Allen, Mobley, Marky, Love, and Cedi.

I wouldn't say the Bulls are "desparate for a win". They're in first place and there are 40 games left to play. In the last week they lost to Brooklyn and Golden State at home and Boston and Memphis on the road with Ball, LaVine, and Caruso out. Their next two games are against Cleveland and Milwaukee.

It's just a very tough stretch of schedule combined with a lot of injuries. They just have to take their lumps until Ball, Lavine, Green, and Jones get back. We're barely halfway through the season.

that was the sense I've gotten from reading some of the articles/comments from Bulls fans. But who knows.
Well, Forbes got traded to the Nuggets, so much for that.
This is a bummer, I've had Bryn coming back to his original college stomping grounds for a few seasons and this seemed like the ideal time.

On Tuesday, the Cavs announced that their matchup against the Toronto Raptors at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Sunday, March 6, will now be nationally televised on ESPN, with the game's tip-off having been moved to 7:30 p.m. ET. Currently, the announcement marks Cleveland's first game that will be nationally televised this season, aside from games that have aired on NBA TV.

My birthday is March 7th I already told the wife I want to go as my birthday present is a 10 hour drive but guckjnv worth it

I will not be surprised if JB starts LM on DeRo to see if his Length can make it difficult on him…Put Okoro on White who been hot lately…

DDR is a wizard in the midrange and he has all the tricks in the book. Markkanen would be in foul trouble in about two seconds.
