You want Windler to break Lauri's kneecaps?

Wtf man, that seems a little harsh, going all Tonya Harding on him for a starting job. Smh...
Oh no, I think Windler will break his own kneecaps.

If someone had told me in October that on January 24 we would start Garland, Okoro, Wade, Mobley, & Davis, and that our key subs would include Stevens & Rondo, I would have assumed we were in the middle of trying to tank. Who would have thought that we would win that game and be 10 games over .500?

Getting W’s but it honestly feels like we’re just limping into the all-star break. DG desperately needs a week off (but getting 17 minutes in the ASG would be fine).

Some thoughts on the Cavaliers from a fan perspective:

- Garland is a max player. There's no doubt about it. Once he's eligible for an extension, the Cavs brass should rush to his house & offer it, similar to how they did with Irving in 2014.

- My offer for Rubio would be 4 years, $50 million. I think that's a fair contract for both sides. I really hope we bring him back. With Sexton returning from injury, Rubio's minutes will be reduced.

- As for Sexton, I'd offer him the same contract Allen got. 5 years, $100 million with a 5% increase per year. I think it's a lot of money, but the upside is huge.

- In regards to making a trade, I'd be hesitant unless the price is right. I'm not giving up our draft picks this year. They're too valuable. Eric Gordon is a name thrown around, but he's 33 & has a long history of injuries. I wouldn't trade Rubio for him at all even if they were the ones offering draft compensation.

- The Kevin Love situation is a bit confusing. Somehow, he's come back to life this year. That said, his past tells you that it might be a fluke. He's been a non-factor since he signed that extension, aside from a good stretch this season. Maybe he's eyeing one last contract. If we get expirings for him, I'd send him straight to the airport. We're flirting with being a tax team, that money can be better used elsewhere, & we could avoid being above it one extra year which could be huge down the road.

- One more thing: Is it possible that the Cavs sign a player of Puerto Rican descent? Examples are Moe Harkless & Shabazz Napier. I think both those guys are good bench players. Napier would be a major upgrade over Pangos. The reason I mention this is because I live in Puerto Rico & our local channels tend to favor teams that have these guys (especially in the MLB). It's weird though because this year, we haven't gotten any Kings games. Maybe it's because Harkless is somewhat irrelevant. Napier played for the Puerto Rican national team so I bet he'd get y'all more air time here, which is good for me.

I’m not advocating making ANY trades unless it’s a prime time player wanting to relocate. I have said before I’m not into mortgaging our future (been through the Stepien years) but if we were able to get Beal, Butler, PG13 type player for a package of Sexton and other players (and second round picks) not mention Garland, Mobley, JA and Lauri….I’m pulling the trigger with a quickness. That being said that type of player isn’t available right. But if you can get a Gordon for a second rounder, Windler, and Goodwin or Stevens YOU DO IT!

Grayson Allens history is interesting. If you look at all those clips it looks like that dude has some serious mental issues and shouldn't be playing professional basketball.

Grayson is an asshole, dont confuse it with mental issues. One of my least favorite players of all time

After the win against the Knicks, the Cavs have now held their opponent under 100 points 19 times this year. They are 16-3 in such games.

The nineteen occasions exceeds the previous two seasons combined (2019-2020: 8 games where the opponent is under 100 (5-3 record). 2020-2021: 10 games where the opponent is under 100 (9-1 record))

In order to exceed the previous three seasons combined in such games, the Cavs will need to do this nine more times.

I agree with all this except the last point. We won't be able to trade him (no one wants that contract) without also giving up assets. The difference between this year and recent years with Love is his attitude has changed. He is having fun again and is a great mentor for our young guys. His play isn't a fluke at all -- he has always been an elite defensive rebounder and three point shooter. He is important to this team, even if he only plays 20 minutes per night.

We are missing prolly a quarter over the team and they still find ways to win. Fucking impressive. Who would’ve thought we would be at 29-19 at this point
Yep. An undermanned Cavs team beating a healthy Knicks team, that made the playoffs just a year ago, shows just how improved and how good this team is. They play hard, they have a high basketball IQ, and making winning plays just comes easy & natural to them. I still think we're probably a year away from an actual Finals run, but, with this group, who knows? They keep surprising me.
