I have been a fan of the cavs since they started we all watch basketball to be entertaining sometimes we have a great team even when lebron was not here THE fANS were great .now the fans seem to hate on players even tho none us us are one bit as good as our last player on the bench lets get over the hate and just enjoy the entertainment.
yeah rebuilds are tough on anyone but esp on diehards hence the whining

Yeah he isn't clumsy. Just normal. Slow reacting and not particularly good touch. He misses wide open bunnies a lot. Basically needs to dunk or pass IMO.

Kind of shows you how skilled Yao was. Same height, super strong, but he had a really nice touch. He'd score on everyone

actually, to speak semi-seriously about my experiment of playing on shorter baskets, the most interesting thing was when I set the basket to 8 feet. Since I’m 5’9 that literally would be the equivalent of being 7’9. I still missed a fair number of turnarounds in the paint - just too clumsy. Gave me sympathy for Tacko! Like you said, he’s a normal nervous system in a giraffes body trying to play in the NBA

Tacko has never sat in a chair that didn't make him feel like he was at the kiddie table
How that is not incentive to work is beyond me. He could have been elite but he is just not that into it apparently

Would never happen. I think the extra development could probably help him but it would be such a bad look for Koby to have his #5 pick from last year sent to the G League.
That’s where he needs to be! Damn what Koby looks like! Shouldn’t have wasted the #5 pick on a G League player.

Outside of maybe picking Halliburton who went 12 to the Kings who would you have pick , that 2020 draft after the first 3 picks , might go down as one of the worsts draft and the last 10 years or so……I have a sneaky feeling we might have want Patrick Williams who went one pick before us……

it was the draft of long term projects or meh upside role players. The Cavs took the highest upside and only win now fans cant maintain

Outside of Haliburton the Cavs should have traded the pick! If you are drafting in one of the top 5 picks and that player sitting there isn’t a different maker then you trade the pick for future assets. Same thing they should have done when they took Anthony Bennett number one. There was no difference maker in that top five either. Should have traded that pick as well.

Can you imagine the draw for a Charge game on Tacko Fall bobblehead night

Takes 2 to tangle other teams probably new this draft was long term projects as Ozone mention……And Cleveland did try to trade in the AB draft, other teams new the same thing……

I am still high on Okoro. Still needs to add a reliable shot and get a tighter grip on his handles. He still makes quick decisions with the ball, still plays defense. JBB always has him guard the most potent 1 on 1 player, but I wonder if he'd be better served as a help defender on the wing because he makes good reads defensively. Should benefit playing with Rubio and Mobley given their passing ability and Isaac's ability to get out on transition, cut and finish in the HC.
Would like to see a Garland/Okoro/Windler/Laurie/Mobley line up some from JBB. Okoro & Windler are both active on defense, Mobley as well, have some very good floor spacing with Garland's ability to get into the lane and find open cutters/spot up shooters.

Okoro is unselfish to a fault like Darius is sometimes. Needs to attack one guy in the lane every chance he gets and draw fouls.

I do think Aaron Nesmith will be pretty decent as well. I would take him over okoro right now.

I agree. He's got the frame to absorb contact. I feel like he doesn't get the whistles he should when he does go strong, but might be a young-player thing.
