Come on now. I love Mobley, but KD averaged 26 points, shot 40% form 3 on 6 shots a game and showed that smoothness in his only year of college ball. I do think Mobley will be special, but lets not put KD special on him. KD could end his career as a top 5 of all time level player....top 10 for sure

I just said smooth…

Rockets let go of F Matthew Hurt. Undrafted, but 5 ⭐ recruit at Duke, and played pretty well there. Flyer?

I'm kind of skeptical we can pull that off. Drummond was healthy and only 26 years old when we acquired him in 2020. Love is 32, hasn't played more than 60 games in a season since 2015-16, and make $5M more than did Drummond. And even then, we only had to give up table scraps for Drummond. I just can't see anyone willing to take on his salary period, much less give up any assets to acquire him.

Also we can’t trade Love the Cavs.

Just not a person to compare Mobley too, even if he lives up to his potential, KD is not the comp....I would say Bosh or even a Garnette without the anger, lol.
I agree on the Bosh comp. While his body is a cross between KG & Bol Bol, Mobley reminds me ALOT of Bosh in terms of his game & his smooth style of play.

Pass. We need wings, rather than another PF.

I mean he's not a PF. He's a tweener forward who won't be able to guard anyone. But he can shoot and space the floor. He has a role. With rumors of Lauri potentially seeing minutes at SF. Why wouldn't they bring Hurt in and see if he can provide something. He shot 44% from 3 last season at Duke. 39% as a freshmen. He has a skillset this team desperately needs.

Damn Evan's sources just a minute behind Chris Fedors again

Hes better than Denzel Valentine.

Not that it matters. But Kyle Guy is a 6-1 PG. Signing him after signing Pangos is weird. Better then Denzel Valentine or not doesn't matter. Is he better then Pangos? This is a waste of a camp spot.

Its weird it seems the Cavs have a bunch of small guys and a bunch of big guys but basically no wings to speak of.
Almost seems like a trade is in the offing. Everytime I pop on here I expect to see a "Welcome Ben Simmons" thread.

I think it's merely a factor of available talent on the market as opposed to a specific strategy, though it lends itself to just such a move regardless.
