I don't think it is a coincidence that both Sexton and Galrand look out of sorts.
The additions of Mobley and Markannen -- plus the re-incorporation of a (temporarily) healthy Kevin Love) -- has meant a significant shift in offensive emphasis to which I think the guards are still adjusting. Last year, they had to carry the scoring/usage load out of necessity, and that's how they played. We were a backcourt-centered team. This year, they are expected to push a lot of that towards the frontcourt, and I think it is going to take at least 20 games for them to get comfortable with this more balanced frontcourt/backcourt scoring balance.
It looks bad right now, but I think if we consider the magnitude of this offensive change, it is more understandable.
