Brooklyn assistant coach interferes in the game and nothing was called. I thought it was ridiculous that the refs didn't review this, or even see it when it happened. The ref was standing 5 feet away from this. Also, the Wizards lost by 1 point.

I'm not sure if they were allowed to review it.

apparently the wizards had already used their review. So the quarter each coach gets to look into the review booth had already been spent, and as no other quarters were available the NBA was unable to watch this review. Thats my understanding.

But this goes back to my continued belief the officials that makes horrendous calls like this should be punished by a public kick to the nuts by the team's head coach the call went against. it would DRAMATICALLY increase the viewership of the sport that does it, and give accountability to the officials.

can you imagine.

john micheal "oh man, not sure what the ref was looking at there. he claims "he didnt see it", but he was staring right at that assistant head coach clearly reaching out onto the court"
austin car "oh yeah and here is a lesson for this ref, always look where you are watching"
Micheal "and unfortunately for this ref, JBB is where wingtips tonight"

ref takes kick to the nuts and falls to the floor

CROWD CHEERS

carr "get that weak stuff out of here"

ref slowly crawls away

CAVS BALL

That would have been delicious for the refs are out to get Cleveland crowd….

If Jamal Murray comes back at even 75% what he was before the injury, I think Denver can make some real noise in the West. Jokic is an absolute monster and an absolute joy to watch. Having a 7ft center who handles, shoots, and passes like a PG, but unlike the other jumbo PGs, is one of the best at the normal center stuff (boards, post up scoring and passing, rim protection) is just wild. He is the player you always make in 2k but real. I fucking love watching Jokic. What a time to be alive.

One more comment on the Nuggets/LAC game from yesterday...you really see the value of keeping a core of guys around with players like Barton who have played with Jokic for a few years now. They can just connect on passes and plays without calling anything out and just adjusting to the D in front of them. I can't wait til a few years from now when our guys are able to fully reach that level.

Agreed. I think Murray is such a difference maker. But that team has lost a lot of depth since his bubble dominance

100%. Losing Gary Harris as a stopper has hurt them. Jerami Grant bailing, Millsap getting old etc all major issues. Even PJ Dozier going down hurts.

They have been able to replace some of those guys with players like Zeke Nnaji and AG but I don't think they are a true contender. I do think they are good enough that if they get hot they can scare the top teams and potentially even take a series (espec vs the Jazz).
