So...

You don't think the NBA is rigged?

My thought is that if the game was rigged, an assistant coach wouldn't have to do something so stupid and obvious to flip a game.

Refs are watching a lot of things, but one thing they probably aren't looking for is an assistant coach reaching out onto the court to deflect a ball. It's just something so unexpected I don't think the referee was focused on it.

One more Jokic related thought for you all. One of he or Embiid is gonna get screwed hard for All NBA. Both are clearly top 5 players this season, arguably the two best during the reg season. But our insistence on having positional designations means one of them is gonna get left off. Gobert is probably a top 10 guy and hes going to get stuck on 3rd team for the same reason. IMO, NBA should stop having G/F/C divisions for the All-NBA and either adopt all-star format (backcourt+frontcourt) or catchup to the modern era and get rid of positions entirely.

100%. Losing Gary Harris as a stopper has hurt them. Jerami Grant bailing, Millsap getting old etc all major issues. Even PJ Dozier going down hurts.

They have been able to replace some of those guys with players like Zeke Nnaji and AG but I don't think they are a true contender. I do think they are good enough that if they get hot they can scare the top teams and potentially even take a series (espec vs the Jazz).
Jerami Grant is a loser and doesn't deserve to be on a winning team with Jokic and Murray.

GSW lost at home to the banged up Pacers. Real Dubs Fans no doubt melting down over the loss, demanding Kerr be fired and Klay benched for shooting 6 of 17.

So dumb, I am going to lower the price of my old house by 50% because I love my new house so much.

Does he really expect fans and other GM's to be that dumb? The other GM's are not morons? Can you imagine how much we would hate Morey if he was our GM?

The hilarious thing here is he wants to address playmaking, defense, rebounding, and their transition game and Ben Simmons would be the perfect player to do that
True. Ben Simmons wants nothing to do with that organization tho.

I've already seen GS fans start calling for Klay to take a reduced role because they think he is hurting their winning.

Lakers lose to the awful Magic tonight, Vogel loses his job I bet. Gives the Magic something to play for LOL

Gary Harris has some intense eyebrows

Lakers pull it out against the worst team in basketball. Next three against the Nets, Heat, and Sixers. Vogel death watch continues

Toronto played four guys between 39-41 minutes tonight to help secure they're tight win against WAS

Chicago played 4 guys between 35-39 minutes

Portland played 4 guys between 36-39 minutes

PHI had 4 guys between 37 and 46(!) minutes. 37 minutes for Embiid, who has had so many injuries.

Nuggets will end up with Jokic playing 39 minutes tonight after going 41 minutes in an OT game Wednesday night

Edited to add almost 34 year old Steph playing 39 minutes in a “must win” statement game against the Rockets

This is what teams do in close games. It’s what Steve Kerr, Mike Malone, Doc Rivers, Billy Donovan, Nick Nurse, Chauncey Billups and so many other head coaches do with their stars and best players in close games.

Yet when we do it, a particular brand of derision and vitriol comes out towards our coach as if his behavior is an amateur, outlier behavior.

It's interesting to me.
