While we have been kicking butt, CHA just dropped a fat 158 in regulation. They couldn't defend a middle school team but they score in bunches. Could be scary for some of the weaker East conteders (looking at you bkn)

Is the Philly PA announcer the most annoying one in the league?

I find the voice (or at least the annunciations) particularly grating and to top it off there's an echo/repetition effect for the last names.

Goodness.

Hopefully the Cavs hold them to zero points when they play in Philadelphia so the PA is silent.

If Ben Simmons passed up the dunk because he didn't want to hear his name through the loudspeaker in that manner, suddenly his decision became a lot more understandable to me. I can't knock that!

To make a long ramble shorter... I think if they just took out the echo/repeat effect it would be a lot more tolerable. For now... did some background checking and I know to avoid NBA2k22 (at least with the volume on!)

Shaq has three things he said to Joel, all three about dominating. He told Joel that two years ago and Embiid said “yes sir” but it wasn’t until last season that Joel got it. Charles and Kenny also praising him. So much is about mental approach - you can’t and won’t dominate unless you are determined to dominate even if you have the talent.
