Cleveland sports fans are so scared to get excited. I don't know if anyone listens to the Locked on Cavs podcast but they are still cautiously hopeful that the Cavs can be in the mix for the play in.

I get the caution in some ways...but I won't see, for example, a 10th place finish and a play in berth without going to the actual postseason as an outstanding season.

The Cavs have the best front court just about every single night they play, on top of solid guard (ok, PG) play. The Lauri experiment is even working so far.

Just saying, I have raised my expectations. This team knows they are good.
People are cautious as they’ve had good starts before only to go in the tank and end up back in the lottery. This year is different. The Cavs are older, more mature, and they play with a confidence, determination, & resilience, the likes of which, we haven’t seen in quite some time.

Honestly, with the way they’re playing, just making the play-in tournament would be a disappointment. I see a team that is better than that and should be higher than a 7-seed in the playoffs. I truly think they can be this year’s Hawks or Suns and make a run at the Finals. Just cause people didn’t expect it doesn’t mean it can’t happen.

The Cavaliers are good- I mean, really good. Let’s sit back & enjoy the ride.

Probably some people who need to come claim their "WTF are the Bulls doing trading picks for DeRozan" posts acting like he was a washed up outdated for this era player.

Massive L, his skills have much value in this specific era.

Larry Nance really wanted to win now huh

I was at the Blazers / Celts game last night.

LNJ looked miserable, constantly frustrated with teammates not being where they were supposed to be on both sides of the floor. He’s the only one on that roster that says much while on defense. Without Dame, the Blazers look like one of the worst teams in league. Portland fans deserve better (lookin at you, Olshey).

Side note - Celtics fans are the most annoying, insufferable asshats imaginable.

I can't imagine he is feeling good about this decision now. What a bummer for him

Brandon Ingram dropped 40 and the Pelicans still loss. Has to be frustrating. Wish there was a way to get him to Cleveland.

I came out of last season wanting Brandon Ingram as much as anyone. Watching how *this* team has been playing this year, I'm not sure I like his fit anymore (granted I haven't watched much of him this year). I think I like him on paper more than like him in reality. Not sure how much he'd be able to score within the flow of an offense, instead of producing like a 6'10" version of Sexton.

OKC actually looks like an NBA team again now that SGA, Giddey, Favors, and Kenrich Williams are playing again. They totally outplayed the Pistons in the crunch in the 4th and won!

honestly, they should swap places, instead of playing alongside each other.
I think they compliment each other very well. Lillard is smaller, not good at defense, but can shoot and score at elite levels. Simmons has size, not good at offense, but can defend and switch at elite levels. Both are reasonably similarly skilled playmakers that can run the offense.
