I Think the Rockets are gonna be in a good spot next season.

Sengun is gonna be the steal of the draft imo.

Not sure if Porter Jr. as a PG works out long term, but it's somewhat intriguing.

Charlotte looks...intriguing.
another team in the NBA preferred prototype: a PG, 2 wings, 2 bigs... on that team, their bigs are "meh" compared to some other teams, but their wings are above average if not All-Star tier. Their PG is LaMelo who is on track to be All-Star tier.

They're going to be a good team with their current construction. They still seem very much unfinished.

Interesting stat line from Josh Giddey the other night: 19pts/8rebs/7asts/4 steals. Considering he is playing on a glorified G-League team in the Thunder right now.

Shit. Jalen green had a good game.

95% of my entertainment is gone now. I'm not a bad guy... but this is a guy I may not be rooting for for my sheer joy.

LeBron getting irritated at Cameron Payne and telling him to be humble after he attended a Cameron Payne finals game and sat front row with sunglasses on and his own bottle of Tequila is such a LeBron move….

Lakers get their first win but their troubles aren't over. The only reason they won that game was a stellar performance by Carmelo Anthony, 10-15 for 28 points and his +/- was a +19(!) in just 28 minutes of play (!!). All the starters were in negative territory for +/- with the closest to even being Lebron at -1. Westbrook continues to play losing basketball with 13 points on 15 shots and 9 turnovers to stack against his 13 assists, he had a -8 when he was on the court.

Lakers have four of their next six games against OKC and Houston (and one against us) so they will likely manage a winning record after that stretch, but barely....I anticipate trouble emerging by Christmas after the Nets game. My Lebron pout forecast predicts that the dog days of January and February will see moping and passive-aggression.

This is a good point re team construction and underlines that we need not one but two legit wings with proper size and athleticism. Markkanen doesn't count.

What's the story here? I know he was incredibly popular on this board when everyone assumed Rockets would take Mobley.

SEngun has been filling the stat sheet, haven't got to watch him yet though. KPJ has been outstanding, working his way into being Green's Pippen.

Miles Bridges looking like a beast early. We got front row seats for one of his games but Charlotte could make some serious noise along with Chicago. Of course Hayward is going to get hurt at some point and they'll fade like last season.

Game 1 vs Pacers: 13/8/4 w/ 50/25/100 shooting split (3 steals, 1 block)
Game 2 vs Cavs: 30/7/0 w/ 54.2/44.4/0 (no attempts) shooting split (3 steals)
Game 3 vs Nets: 32/9/2 w/ 56.3/60/9.7 shooting split (2 steals, 1 block)

Out of all of the potential snubs why are people most freaking out about Klay Thompson not making the 75 list? Like, he honestly shouldn't even be considered at this point.
