I was SO sure the Nets would just roll to a title this season and then the Kyrie stuff happened and it just goes to show how nothing is ever a sure thing.

Said during the off-season he was a luxury and they should have traded him for someone who fits the team better and is more reliable. Durant and Harden just need some reliable good players to win a title.

Thought Miami for Bam made sense.

Now they've got like 40 million of cap space tied up in a player who may not play a single minute this season.

Kyrie will step away from basketball, ending his retirement at least a decade hence
to return to the Cavs as the real Uncle Drew.

The Preseason Champs, Chicago, looking good so far against Detroit (14 points in the first quarter).

Lisa Salters looking THICC

NBA is Byke

LOL, Sixers pregame host Amy Fadool has Nets finishing #2 in the East because she thinks the Nets are better without Kyrie.

Switched from the Cavs game to the OKC game at halftime. Something of a polar opposite affair in the first quarter in that one; it's 27-19 Jazz ahead of the Thunder. Slower and more methodical game. OKC cannot score when SGA is off. Bazley still sucks on offense. I'm so tired of the Baze.

The Rockets basically expecting one of KPJ or Jalen Green to be point guard and run an actual regular season NBA offense is going to be interesting to watch.

Maybe it pays off in the long run, but it's a huge ask for either of those guys right now and one that could cause issue with their teammates if they are either both too hero ball oriented or just incapable yet of running an offense at all.

KPJ with 9 TO's tonight

If Charlotte could somehow swing a trade for just a decent defensive big man they could be dangerous.

Currently hamstrung by having to play Kelly Oubre big minutes but that'll change when Rozier comes back.

They'll be a top 5 seed. Book it. LaMelo is that good already.

Ugh. I turned this one off. Cavs fans, be glad about the offense tonight, cuz OKC fans have nothing to be excited about with THAT kind of shooting.

The Bucks, man. Now that they're not playing like some bullshit, and Giannis has levelled up... that's a team I like.
The Warriors looking like 2015 level bullshit again .... ugh. Besides the Lakers, I don't even know who's a threat in the West like that. I see those two, the Jazz, Denver, and Phoenix. After that... question mark.

Memphis probably gets a legit spot if health is good for them.

Would love to watch a Warriors/Bucks finals. Can't stand GSW but they make for some entertaining basketball.
