Cleveland sports fans are so scared to get excited. I don't know if anyone listens to the Locked on Cavs podcast but they are still cautiously hopeful that the Cavs can be in the mix for the play in.

I get the caution in some ways...but I won't see, for example, a 10th place finish and a play in berth without going to the actual postseason as an outstanding season.

The Cavs have the best front court just about every single night they play, on top of solid guard (ok, PG) play. The Lauri experiment is even working so far.

Just saying, I have raised my expectations. This team knows they are good.

It's going to change. It's still hard to believe and Cleveland fans are snake bitten for sure.

I hope the team doesn't drink their own kool aid tho. Easy for the effort to fall off if you think you made it already

Doubt Simmons helps the Nets. He’s like James Harden without the ability to score.
I look at it in a way that Harden (bad in defense) and Simmons (iffy offense, very good defender) would complement each other… Nets have enough offense as long as Durant and Harden are both healthy

Scared to get excited - too true. Not for me. I’ve been excited since October. We have a great future.

It’s like a smoking hot lady chats you up and then you ask her out and she accepts. Are you scared you might lose her or she’ll break your heart? Some would be, but enjoy it while it’s happening and put aside any fear.

In my Cleveland sports experience we’ll see a moment when the Cavaliers break through for the bulk of the fanbase. People will realize we have something very special. It might not happen this season, it might be the playoffs, it might be next year, but it will happen.

Memphis is 12-10.

They've outscored their last three opponents by 27, 7, and 73 points for a total of +107.

They are still left with a negative point differential (-0.8) on the year.
Yeah there aren’t a lot of teams that I’d say are clearly superior to us. Crazy year with the injuries, Covid, rule changes, and eight balls like Kyrie and Simmons not playing.

damn, now the Simmons-bashing has gone so far that people are saying he's one of the worst defenders in the league

I was looking to adopt either the Blazers or Kings as my "West Coast Team".

Then Luke Walton was the first coach fired. Now this:

Join me on the Grizz train. They have fun bench guys like Jon Konchar and Melton

HOU won yet again.

All it took was for Jalen Green to get hurt and KPJ to start getting under 20 minutes per game.

On a serious note, HOU fans believe it's not related to that and is happening because they switched from having two traditional Bigs playing in the starting lineup to just one big and they are convinced the winning will continue once Green returns.

We'll see.

FYI,

They acquired Garrison Mathews, a knockdown 3pt shooter I specifically asked the Cavs to acquire, but they didn't listen. Just saying...he is a big part of it.

Jalen Green sucks though.

Hornets are about to drop off. Lamelo, Rozier & Plumlee (McDaniels too) are all entering covid protocols. Expected to miss some games.
