2021 Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Its right there with Myles. I mean Covid screwed him up last year, but he is always the best we have, but you are right about the DL and resting.

How many snaps does Donald play? I mean closest to Myles right now imo, i think Myles is going to push for DPOY honors this year if he stays healthy. He is really that type of special.

85%

And absolutely, this needs to be the year Myles straps it on and finally brings that title home.

Clowney and Takk have to take the pressure off, but having two veteran DL in the middle in Jackson and Billings might be a bigger advantage to the amount of help they're able to give whoever is matched up with 95.

i realize we have talent and depth at DL, but i am still loving the idea of bringing tak and clowney off the edge and put Myles inside on the same side as Clowney on 3rd and long.

DPJ next in line under the tutelage of Landry and Beckham.

I've said it for YEARS here, but I'm just going to keep saying it.

Development matters. They finally have the right tools for development of young players and the established, pro-culture veterans who aid in learning the system and understanding the nuances of the position.

Breath of fresh air for those of us who've posted here shouting it for a decade.

Wait are you saying Hue Jackson wasnt good at developing players?

Blasphemy

No surprise at all that DPJ is looking like a stud. He was a 5 star prospect and has always had loads of talent. He's also a smart kid. His own uncle came out this week and said if he went to Ohio State he would've been a 1st-2nd round pick, that Michigan didn't develop him and didnt even have a WR coach his 1st year there. Fit is everything and both the Browns and DPJ both got lucky. We got a steal in the 6th and he got an ideal landing spot to learn and grow with great coaches and veteran WRs. Even as a Buckeye fan, it's amazing how many OSU homers were pissed we picked him over KJ Hill in that draft. KJ was a great college player but the talent between the two isn't close and in the 6th round you shoot your shot.

Taking skill position guys from major programs that late almost never works out. If you went to OSU or Alabama as a WR and you’re still on the board in the sixth round, you’re either not an NFL caliber player or you have off field issues. Every scout has seen you play if you’re on one of those teams and if you’ve got the juice you’ll be a day one or two pick.

Late rounds are where you take shots on receivers who went to smaller schools but have nice athletic profiles, or guys like DPJ who went to inept programs and may be lottery tickets.
