2021 Browns Training Camp

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Looks like Chris Hubbard and his mammoth salary cap hit are back on the field as well...

Glad he is healthy, not sure the Browns actually need him.

Between versatile Hubbard, FA signing in Senat, a 4th round rookie in Hudson and last year's unknown playoff heroes at Guard, plus Drew Forbes......backup OL might be the camp battles I am most intrigued in.

Starting safety opposite JJ3 and starting OLB's.

Hubbard is set to make almost $5 million. I'm pulling for guys like Senat and Hudson to prove they don't need him, but also for Hubbard to prove he is healthy. A team who loses a starter to injury during the preseason could trade for Hubbard and create over 25 million in roll-over cap.

In hindsight, hiring Kitchens for a year might have been a blessing in disguise, because it seems to have taught every player on our roster not to buy into preseason hype. All I keep reading from them all is that they haven't proven anything yet, need to put in the work, we're good on paper but need to prove it, etc.

It sucked at the time, but it seems to have taught a lot of our guys a lesson in humility, and we ended up with the coach we should have hired that year anyway.

probably not in this defense, but still will be interesting if JOK starts from day 1
I kinda envision a scenario where Harrison and JOK are not starters, but Woods play them in specific scenarios where they match up very well.

Especially in JOKs case. He’s capable of doing a ton of things well at LB, but it may be prudent to start him off with a niche roll and expand it as things go along.

He also drove a tank well enough to get the team a starting Left Tackle on a rookie deal. That was pretty valuable too.

Looked suspicious? Just another case of an African American male being racially profiled.
I took it more of suspicious that he was on the field actually playing
