Shocked it had nothing to do with the asinine “hot nuggets” nevadabuck was apparently spewing about locker room revolts.

Was just a matter of time.

As close to a lifer here, and someone who has been on that Buckeye Board the last 15 months, let just say it makes any dispute/argument here pale in comparison and I am grateful for that

Fresh off an impressive win over a powerhouse Bryant University team that had been undefeated, The University of Akron Zips (my alma mater) are preparing to shock the Buckeyes this week. A mere 49 1/2 point underdog, Rubber City College will be a trap game for Ohio State’s erratic QB and questionable defense. I fully expect Akron to keep this to a 49 point deficit and cover the spread.

Fear the Roo.

I don’t think Stroud will be starting, given Day’s comments today.

Didn't see the comments, what'd he say?

Edit: If it was this, I could see it.

He confirmed that CJ is dealing with something pretty significant with the shoulder, seems like McCord and Miller are gearing up for reps.

Just seems like the perfect time to rest CJ and get those guys some run against a remarkably bad Akron team.

I'm certainly reading into what he's saying a bit, but if CJ were a lock to play I'm not sure Day offers up much detail about what CJ is dealing with. Just me being me, reading too much into press conferences.

Hopefully he's okay and gets the start.

Looks like you weren't reading too much into it.

Thank goodness...playing an injured QB against Akron makes no sense
I mean, Joe Bauserman hung 40 on Akron.

edit - No disrespect to Joe. He played minor league baseball and started at QB for OSU. I wish I could do those things.
