2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
James Franklin is such a tool... Really hope Iowa finds a way here. Keep running it.

Eat that ass: could lock up Ferentze's B10 coach of the year right now lol

Boy, I don’t think either of these Big Ten teams wants to see OSU. That said, Penn probably wins if Clifford doesn’t go out.

Iowa will be heavily favored until the B1G championship

Yeah, you could say the playoffs are looking pretty wide open all of a sudden
I dunno, a week ago OSU had a really really hard uphill battle to make it according to some here…. :chuckle:

Welcome to college football right?

Bama darlings will still be #4 :chuckle:
With the amount of bias and leeway that's given to them as a matter of course, it wouldn't surprise me if this the Top 10 later today:

1. Georgia
2. Iowa
3. Alabama
4. Cincinnati
5. Oklahoma
6. Ohio State
7. Michigan
8. Penn State
9. Oregon
10. Michigan State

What it SHOULD be based on the quality of wins & losses:

1. Georgia
2. Iowa
3. Cincinnati
4. Oklahoma
5. Penn State
6. Ohio State
7. Michigan
8. Alabama
9. Michigan State
10. Oregon

Either way, it's nice to know that 50% of the Top 10 SHOULD be B1G teams.

So is Nebraska borderline legit too or? They lost to fucking Illinois and Michigan just squeaks past them?

There is no way Alabama should sniff the top 5 after losing to an UNRANKED team.

9 or 10 seems reasonable. We all know they’re still good. But gotta punish a bad loss.

Nebraska lives in hell. After losing in Week 0 it seemed like they simply sucked, but it turns out they are a decent team that just can't get their shit together.

I also think Michigan has come back to Earth after a strong start (I've heard this song before). They barely beat Rutgers before we clobbered them. We could absolutely drop a game but it's looking more and more like Oregon was a blip and the B1G is still ours.

Bad loss? Texas A&M was a playoff contender before any games were played and now they've beaten ALABAMA. Ergo, quality loss for Bama.
