2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Michigan does have the best resume, but the committee's job isn't to rank resumes. Alabama would beat their ass. Georgia is a bad matchup because they'll force McNamara to beat them through the air. So unless they get Cincinnati, which they won't, they'll be one and done.

Logically, it would be good for Ohio State if Michigan has success in the playoff just to increase the perception of the conference. But I can't watch them without pulling for their opponent, so I just won't watch at all.

All this sounds so silly to me.

We are a week removed from Alabama lucking in to the SEC title game and everyone asking if we should just give the trophy to Georgia.

Kicked OSU’s ass. Kicked Iowa’s ass. Whatever. Line up the next team. They may lose but nothing I saw today would lead me to believe they have no shot.

Rose Bowl for us right?

I imagine it’ll be Bama v Cincy and UM v UG, and it’ll probably be an awful SEC rematch for the title.

Michigan with a dream season for sure, that almost no one saw coming. Makes me want to fucking puke, but i'd be surprised if Michigan didn't win the title this year.

My money is still on Bama, which seemed likely when they managed not to get eliminated early and now feels like a lock with the way they handled Georgia.

If Michigan wins it I’ll be kinda pissed cause we coulda had it if they manage to pull it off.

It’s Bama’s to lose. Saban won’t get bullied with the run like we did and Michigan doesn’t have the QB play to carry them to a title.

Georgia got exposed against their first good opponent. OSU really missed a golden opportunity this year. If they just had a slightly above average defense, the national championship was there for the taking.

This year was a missed opp no doubt.

Alabama
Georgia
Cincy
Notre Dame

Michigan has by far the worst loss of the four

Yeah, Notre Dame has nobody to blame but themselves.

Maybe Marcus Freeman is the one to finally push those cowards into joining a conference.
