2021 Draft Lottery

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Did they give Wade a 2 way immediately after the draft? I know they gave one out quickly in the past but usually they are slow to give them. I would like to see them give both out quickly and snatch up two guys. Waiting till guys play in summer league allow guys to get taken by other teams.

Wade in 2019 and Stevens in 2020. Both as soon as draft ended.

Cooper on Hawks is fun. They have Trae Young now they have off brand Trae Young.

Pretty shocked to see Sharife Cooper & BJ Boston in free fall. I understand Cooper is undersized, and I didn't really love him when he was projected top-10 or lottery, and Boston was generally just bad this season, but from a pure talent perspective, these guys are much better than late second round talents.

Boston is the guy to take a gamble on. He has all the measurable and was thought to be lotto pick before this season. Let him bulk up and we have minutes to give to a wing.

I also think Joel Ayayi could be the perfect guy to come off the bench to rotate in for Garland or Sexton. He is good on and off the ball. He is also a taller guard that can defend.

Is summer league team just gonna be Evan Mobley and scraps or is Okoro gonna play?

Boston to N. O.

They are trading him to the clippers. I'm still scratching my head on why they pulled the trigger on Rubio before the draft. I didn't even realize the implications of the cash consideration at the time but that further limited their flexibility going into tonight.

I'm sure that deal would have been there after the draft and the cash wouldn't have made or broke the deal.

I think they valued a vet in the locker room more then another rookie. Rubio was apparently great with Anthony Edwards lasr season and with Suns the year before and with Jazz with Mitchell.

For a 2 way contract I kinda like the kid from Pitt Justin Champagnie assuming he doesn't get drafted.

Kinda surprised Nix is still on the board too. A couple of the PG's seemed to fall a bit..

I get that but it wasn't like they were trading a pick in this year's draft and the Cavs were helping them avoid the luxury tax.

For the Cavs to limit what they could do going into the draft just seems dumb. They handcuff themselves and if they wanted any of these young guys they couldnt use cash consideration to get the deal done. You never know when a guy will drop and just buying a pick could get you a steal.

I like Nix. I would get him on a two way. I think him being over weight in the g-league bubble hurt him. He has real good vision.

I think if a guy like Grimes fell to the 2nd they would've tried to trade back into the draft with their stash of future 2nd's. At least Fedor seemed to be under that impression.
