Here's the final draft lottery odds after the Cavs lost the coin flip with OKC--

It's all over the place between pick 1 and pick 9.

Odds of getting pick 1,2,3: 34.1%
Odds of getting pick 4,5,6: 31.2%
Odds of getting Pick 7,8,9: 34.7%

Odds of getting pick 1,2,3.4: 45.1%
Odds of getting pick 6,7: 43.7%

Most likely single outcome: Pick 7

I’m hoping the Cavs can sneak into the top 5. Or hell, stay at 5. I do not want to be outside of the top 5 at all.

That loss against the Nets is like the win against the Celtics. A tragedy.

Top 6 and I’ll be happy. C’mon lottery gods.

The Cavs will have ALLLLL the shooting guards.
If we draft Jalen Green, package Sexton & Okoro for a vet SF. Hes that good. Too bad we lost Porter though.

Imagine

PG - Porter Jr
SG - Green
SF - Vet
PF Nance Jr
C - Allen

OMG we fucked up bad with the porter situation

I have Jalen Green in my top 8, he's going to be a top 40 player in the NBA someday. Not questioning the talent. Let's just admit the Cavs are looking for better length in this draft, that's all.

I don't have a rock-solid top 8 list yet, getting close. Waiting for the lottery then I'll rank prospects.

...and Pining for Porter Posts are just the worst.

My ideal order:
  1. Magic - Sure why not. They can take Cade and hopefully be mildly interesting to watch, but not a contender. Would be fine with either them or SAC.
  2. Cavs - Mobley plz
  3. Timberwolves - Keep pick away from GSW
  4. Rockets - Keep pick away from OKC

Why Mobley over Green? We have Allen. Has there ever been a dominating PF + C combo in the modern Era? The league is ruled by Guards & Wings who can handle the ball and shoot.

Has there ever been a successful rebuild where the team exclusively picked players 6'5" or under in the lotto?
2011-2014 cavs when we got bron back and sent Wiggins to Minny ;)

Eat that Ass: sorry I forgot Wiggins was listed at 6-6 so I’m wrong but it was worth it for the memes

We also picked TT in the lottery, who was a 6’9 I believe
