Jamin Davis at 17 to the Raiders and JOK at 26...

Round 1 - Pick 26

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah LB
NOTRE DAME • JR • 6'1" / 215 LBS

PROJECTED TEAM

Cleveland

PROSPECT RNK

16th

POSITION RNK

2nd

Owusu-Koramoah is one of the most freaky specimens in the entire class, and the Browns linebacker group needs an upgrade.

59. Browns: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami
89. Browns: Baron Browning, LB, Ohio State
91. Browns (via NO): Alim McNeill, DT, NC State

A week before the draft and Jamin is anywhere from a mid 1st round pick to an early 3rd round pick. lol

I cant wait for the draft for allot of reasons, but for mock draft season to be over is one of them.

Waddle will go over him for the same reason Ruggs went over Lamb and Jeudy, both markedly better prospects, last year. NFL teams are infatuated with top end speed. Smith will go over him too because he won the Heisman and the Eagles will talk themselves into him.
of course they will, but imo he has the most complete resume outside of Chase so anywhere from 10-20 is reasonable and anyone getting him later is stealing value. He did not have a Mac Jones throwing too him either as far as Waddle and Smith

I'd be floored if they spend 2 picks in the first 2 days on LB

Newsome at 26. Horn at 12 (trade up?)

Interesting that he has the entire class of defensive lineman slipping lower than most drafts and the class of linebackers rising. I think he is seeing talent trump positional value.

Seems like the league as a whole is really down on this DL class, and no smart team is going to force positional need just because. They knew where the strengths of the draft were before FA started.

There was a quote I think in the Athletic that basically said exactly this about the iDL class. That it’s potentially the worst ever.

I assume he’s related to Brevin Knight, and hence would be a solid, but not spectacular pick.
They are neighbors.

I think Brevin Jordan is going to be a very good TE for a long time.

They had a kid together, Brevin Jordan Knight...he is basketball playing member of a boy band.....but he is doing ok, he is hanging tough.

I think that the lack of a combine and in-person interviews is going to make this the draft of on-field performance trumping athletes with high potential whose ability did not match up to their on-field performance. When you can't get inside a guys head, and you can't put him through drills and see how coachable he is, those "potential" guys who carry risk become much more risky. I think that will apply to guys with character/motor issues as well as guys with athletic ability who lack skills/refinement.

All you Payton Turner guys... do you see him playing outside or inside?

I really like him as a third or fourth round pick, and would tolerate it as a second round pick, but to me he profiles more as a third-down DT than a first and second-down DE.

He sort of gives me Justin Tuck vibes.
He was pretty unproductive as a DT. I think he'll most likely end up as a utility defensive linemen. A guy that sees 30-35% of snaps throughout the season and can spell every position other than pure NT. Really versatile and most likely a solid pro.

I'd be good with him in the third or fourth. He really has not produced against good competition, and while I am okay with that in later rounds, I worry about using first and second round picks on that type of player - especially when the Browns are trying to challenge for the AFC title this year.
