2021 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm happy for both the teams. Will be a very nice win for one of them.

Watch Indiana play and see if you’d think TE Peyton Hendershot would make a good compliment to Hooper and Bryant

24) Cleveland Browns: Carlos Basham, EDGE Wake Forest
Fans and the media following the Cleveland Browns have been crying out for the team to add a linebacker, and they could address the position early in the 2021 NFL Draft. They could also add a pass rusher to create a dominant duo with Myles Garrett. The offensive line has played surprisingly well this season, and it would appear the main offensive need in the draft will be a wide receiver, with much speculation over the future of Odell Beckham Jr.

A former 3-star recruit playing for a team that isn’t traditionally an NFL Draft powerhouse, Carlos Basham can fly under the radar in the 2021 NFL Draft. However, with an ability to contribute in both run defense and pass rush from multiple positions across the offensive line, there is no reason to believe that he won’t be a consideration as a mid-to-late first-round selection.

56) Cleveland Browns: Chazz Surratt, LB North Carolina

87) Cleveland Browns: Kolby Harvell-Peel, S Oklahoma State

94) Cleveland Browns: Elijah Moore, WR Ole Miss

101) Cleveland Browns: Camryn Bynum, CB California

119) Cleveland Browns: Landon Young, OT Kentucky

Zach was atrocious. Still going to be a terrific pro.

For all you Zach Wilson honks, BYU now has a game against Coastal Carolina this Saturday after Liberty dropped out due to COVID issues. Not that it's saying much, but this CCU team will be the best team BYU has played to date.

Game will air at 5:30 p.m. on ESPNU.

Of course Liberty dropped out due to Covid issues... half the team was bangin' Jerry Falwell's wife!

We still talking about QBs in this thread or we finally giving that a rest?

I still want Zach Wilson (for financial and fit reasons), but haven't mentioned him for awhile because its not gonna happen and Baker has played better. Ill never run from my opinions, but im also not gonna beat folks over the head with them. #ReadTheRoom

Whether Wilson would be better financially and fit wise, his timeline is off. My guess is the FO sees next year as time for a Super Bowl run. They're going to invest in the defense, and give it a go.

A guy like Wilson is going to have a period of adjustment to get used to NFL caliber defensive schemes and athletes, and just doesn't fit that window.

IMO, other than resigning our guys, our entire offseason ought to be focused on defense. Get this defense fixed and leave the offense together for another, more complete, offseason and we could be really set up for a run.

Bud Dupree is a free agent. Just saying.

I wouldn't take the gamble at this point, unless the people in the building know things we don't about Baker--like he's not putting in enough work to be the leader of this organization or something crazy like that.

I've seen enough on-field learning and growth from him in this season alone to feel comfortable saying, from where I stand, he's the guy.

I still want to see him against the Ravens and Steelers, but as of now I think you have to at least give him another year barring a complete meltdown to close the season.

I know it going to be hard for some people to believe but the Browns are going to be picking the 20s , maybe late 20s. They will not be taking a qb in round one, nor should should they. Baker is improving and finally getting stable coaching. He is not Mahomes or Rodgers but that is okay.

let’s see how he plays the rest of the year, but the decision making has def improved. Arm talent has never been the issue.
Huge off-season coming up in FA and 9 picks. Getting Delpit back could be huge next year as well. If they can Ace the off-season, we could be very well be super bowl contenders next year.

They already are Super Bowl contenders.

But if they can add to the LB Corp, secondary, and WR room, they’ll be talked about as a super bowl favorite
