2021 Game #11 | #4 Ohio State vs. #7 Michigan State | November 20th, 2021 @ 12:00 PM EST

Does McCord lose his redshirt status now?

edit: yep

Even given the potential passing record and wanting to protect some red shirts, didn’t like keeping Stroud in. He had a perfect half and we need him as much as those skill guys.

Glad McCord is in now. He’s probably in the portal before next season anyway.

Should've brought in Quinn.

Oklahoma looks like they’ll win and Clemson will be in the rankings next week

This would have been the time to play Ewers. Save McCord's redshirt for whoever he transfers to.

Have to imagine the staff approached McCord about going in the game and burning the redshirt. Would’ve had no problems putting in Ewers or even Jagger LaRoe (it is senior day, after all), but whatever.

I don’t think MCCord was ever planning on playing CFB for 5 years

Has he become game ready in recent weeks? Feel like he’s just cashing checks this season.

If he can't go out there and hand the ball off after being in the program for three months, I don't know why he's there at all.

Watch Michigan lose now

Michigan losing would’ve been good. Ohio State would’ve wrapped up the Big Ten East and clinched their spot in the Championship game regardless of what happens next week. I still don’t understand why some people are concerned about Michigan winning. They could be 6-5 and OSU would still control their own destiny.

Because a loss to Maryland hurts Michigan's ranking and thusly the clout of our potential win against them. We're in a playoff race and seeding matters, so people want the juice. More importantly, if Michigan looks bad going into the game, it will be harder to argue online with other "experts" about which teams that haven't played each other are betterer.

I love when TTUN has good season leading up to The Game and then we crush and ruin their hopes.

A lot more fun beating them at 9-1 over 6-4.
