Not even a doubt in my mind. Was not that impressed by Oregon in our game, and I think they may be a bit overrated even in a down year for CFB.

That game, to me, was on OSU being in shambles defensively. Some of the worst defensive play I’ve seen from the Buckeyes in 20 years.

That said OSU is far from a finished product. Looked spectacular today, but got a long ways to go as the schedule stiffens a bit soon.

The defense is noticably improved after taking the play calling away from Coombs, but they also haven't played anyone. Just have to hope it continues.

Stroud looked like a totally different QB today too. But it's Rutgers, so who knows what it means.

My message to the conference after today's game:

Going into the game, I felt like if we knew Henderson would be the man out of the gate we might've beat Oregon, let alone having Stroud perform at this level. Not a perfect showing but damn near it. Bama & Georgia still look like a cut above the rest of college, but there's definitely potential here.

I don't think Stroud threw high once, excepting Olave's amazing sideline catch. The kid is legit. Defense is flying to the ball, albeit against a poor offense. Still worrisome we never get pressure from the D Ends, but I believe in Ryan Day and the guts it took to make a mid season change to Barnes early in the season.
