2021 March Madness

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wouldn't be shocked if Gonzaga wins every game by double digits.

I think there are a lot of overseeded teams this year.

Yea it's official. Big Ten was wildly overrated.

OU played terrible. Just out of sorts all game. Gotta give Creighton's defense credit. OU just got outclassed and outplayed.

I've enjoyed Creighton and their point guard this year. Until McDermott dropped a racism bomb in practice, they were looking tough. Really thought it was going to be a closer game today, though.

Kelvin Sampson basically nukes Indiana, but now gets back to the final four.

And people have issue with athletes entering the transfer portal

Has to be the least watched tournament in years with the second rounds on work nights and the elite 8 late games starting at 10pm on work nights.

Rest of the conference shits the bed, so you feel the need to carry the mantle by yourself. You come SO CLOSE to doing it, but suffer an agonizing defeat on the cusp of something great.

Michigan basketball fans now know how OSU football fans felt in 2006.

and 2007

and 2010

and 2013, and 2015, and 2016, and 2017 and 2018 and 2019 and 2020.

I mean, maybe, but who cares. Typically first weekend is Thu-Sun so you've got two work nights (Thu and Sun) and this year it was Fri-Mon so two work nights (Sun and Mon). Sweet 16 is typically Thu and Fri night so one work night there, and this year Elite Eight was Mon and Tue so two work nights.

At the end of the day we're talking one extra work night with late games. It's kind of annoying and I'm not going to lie, I'm tired from being up past midnight the last two nights, but I'd imagine if the NCAA and the networks were that concerned about the ratings they would've done it differently.

To me, all that matters is that the tournament happened and wasn't affected too badly by covid. After not having a tournament last year and with how many games were canceled this year, even impacting the conference tournaments, the fact we've only lost one total game is pretty awesome. It sucks we even lost one, but that one game (Oregon-VCU) was probably inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

I'm going Baylor tonight.

They have just enough defense in their 3 guard rotation to tilt the scales in an otherwise evenly matched Championship game
