Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Good bit of people within the org think Espino has a chance to be the #1 prospect in the organization after this season.

Kid came back with a grown man body and lost 0 of the flexibility that made him special in the first place. Word is his 1st full go pen he was touching 101-102 (he's training in GA) and he has nasty off speed stuff already. Should make quick work of A ball and end in AA this year.
I just went from 6 to midnight

Aquino???
Who is this Aquino you are referring to or were you meaning Daniel Espino (top CLE draft pick the year after Ethan Hankins)????

You might want to remember that Plesac/ Civale/ Bieber were all picked out of college while Hankins & Espino were taken out of high school.. That will play a factor on how fast guys develop & move thru the farm system...
Sorry for the error, Obviously I meant Espino. As for the pitchers ages, there are plenty that arrive in the bigs at the age of 21 or 22. Does Classe ring a bell? Dwight Gooden was 19. Feller was 17. Excuse me for being excited over a couple of young guys that throw in the upper nineties and are rated in our top ten prospect list.

Love Espino, my favorite 1st round pick in recent drafts, but please make somebody tell him that mid 90s is fine in A Ball. The TJ rate of teenagers throwing that hard is crazy. It's a matter of when not if.

Very nice to hear about the DSL talent. I'm kinda intrigued about their 19/20 class that has yet to debut. More of a quantity over quality approach, but lots of profiles they've found success with in the past.

I guess one of those smaller lefties is Hugo Villalobos. Statistically the most interesting DSL arm coming (probably) over.
Any information on Jesus Lara? Reading statistical tea leaves, he's checking a lot of boxes.

Of all the young pitchers they have, he’s the one I’m least worried about when it comes to TJ. He uses his legs/core to pitch way more than most young pitchers who throw hard do at the same age. He throws upper 90s and doesn’t look like he’s trying. That’s not normal for young kids, who usually put unnecessary effort in to add velocity. Using your legs to generate power and take pressure off your arm is how you stay healthy long term and strong through a long season and it’s usually something you don’t pick up until professional coaches start tinkering your mechanics that way. He was drafted with that skill set, which is rare. Kudos to him and whoever sculpted his mechanics as a youngster.

Espino, Hankins, Torres, Wolf, Burnes, and Hentges are power arms that should contribute in time.

I curious to hear about Vargas and Mejia. Any news on their progress Bimbo?

I don't know how, but I'd love to see a trade with the Yankees where Gil was in the deal. He'd fit in real nicely with Espino, Hankins, Torres and the others. He hits the upper 90's with what looks like little effort. He's got a simple, clean delivery too. When it comes to SP prospects with power arms I'm a hoarder.

Good God! I can't wait to see some Clippers' games. They may be as good as half of MLB teams.

I am wanting to see some A ball as well! I mean how many of our top prospects are like 20 and younger and will be playing together... That's some talent up in a few years! It doesn't feel like we will have a legitimate losing season for awhile especially since we even have a coach succession if Francona retires

Agree with this! Lake County is 5 minutes from me so plan to go to games this year.

Brady Aiken going to make an appearance in Lake County this year?

mlb.com has a ranking of farm systems for players under 21. The Indians were 5th but had the highest number of under-21's in their Top 30.

5. Cleveland Indians
Top-100 Prospects: Tyler Freeman (No. 98)
21-and-under among Top 30 prospects: 19

Cleveland featured on the "Just missed list" for both position players and pitchers. This is the organization's time to shine. The Tribe has the most 21-and-under Top 30 prospects among any of the 10 systems on this list. After Nolan Jones (22) and Triston McKenzie (23) at the top, the next 13 ranked prospects will all be 21 or younger come April 1. It's not just the depth that gets the group here either. Bo Naylor, George Valera, Gabriel Arias, Daniel Espino, Brayan Rocchio and Aaron Bracho all have Top 100 potential with Naylor and Arias the only ones among that group who have seen full-season ball yet. A large amount of that aforementioned group came from international signings, but it's notable that the Draft (Tyler Freeman, Naylor, Espino) and trades (Arias, Josh Wolf) have helped Cleveland build up such a strong young core. This could be one of the game's next big systems if things break right in 2021.

Could be very fun following the farm teams this year.

Still part of the organization. Actually reported to camp last year before shit hit the fan.

Don’t think we’ll ever see him pitch again, but the Indians are still looking after him.
Put a bat in his hand?

They have nothing to lose by keeping him. He's been listed online with the Clippers for awhile now. I actually think it's possible he gets on the mound again this season. If anyone benefitted from no baseball in 20, it would have been him. I doubt he will ever be a starter again, but a reliever possibly?

Wonder if the cash considerations/roster spot received from the Plutko trade ultimately goes towards Ka'ai Tom if he is offered back.
