Harold Ramirez is on the "taxi squad" that will accompany the team on road trips but not suit up or play. Does this mean the guys on the taxi squad can only play for Columbus when the Indians are on home stands? Really sucks for them if that is the case.

What do the Clippers do when the Indians are on the road and the Clippers are missing five players, including two pitchers?

Strange that Tyler Freeman isn’t included on the alternate site roster.
Cant say I am surprised but the roster for Columbus/ alt site today does not mean who is with Columbus in early May.
Lets also understand Freeman will likely get more games played during April in Arizona (albeit at a lower level of play) then with the alt site.

I find it interesting that Carlos Vargas is the only member of the 40 man roster not listed at the alt site (minus those with injuries: Hill/ Morgan/ Moss)

Has anyone seen anything on when Columbus will start their season? Akron is set to set in May.

I think part of it is projecting AAA line-up. Don't think they just send down Freeman down to AZ but leave Miller and Arias up in Columbus willy nilly. For me, it was Freeman splitting 2019 in low and high A but Arias was all year high A. They seem to be big on following progression plan. And, playing just 4 games a week, they probably wanted a little separation of two as you cant have 4 guys w Jones for 2nd/ss/3rd plus Krieger even if Freeman got more ST (start) time at the end over Arias.

So, what's going on at the Alt site? Nice to see box scores like these from the past few days...

Got my first look of Josh Wolf live. Wow.

Between Wolf, Espino, Hankins, Torres, and Vargas there are some monster power arms coming through the pipeline. Cantillo is flirting with power arm stuff too at the alt site (up to 96 at times).

Still have their Bieber type prospects too, but they have done a terrific job developing some arms we have really never seen from this franchise in the modern era outside of Salazar for a bit.
