2021 NBA Draft Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watching Cedi play against the knicks it made me think of what Cade Cunningham might look like in the NBA. He's not got that ability to blow past a guy one on one but he will be a complete terror in the DHO PNR motion game. I think if his shooting is elite then he will walk to 15-20ppg 6rp and 8apg as a rookie

...8apg? what? how?

Having teammates hit shots and Play themselves Open along with a higher pace tends to help

You know how tough it is to average 8 ast per game? you think he is going to average that as a rookie? that's crazy.

Lebron for comparison only managed to do it 5 times and there is no comparison as far as gravity and passing is concerned in favor of Lebron.

Even if he becomes the primary playmaker, he won't be doubling his ast average (per 40), certainly not as a rookie.

yeah 8 assists is probably stretching it a bit, but I don’t think Cade is going to have Amy trouble creating looks for his teammates in the pro’s from the jump. I think 6-7 assists a night is pretty attainable, providing the usage rate is there

after what just went down.... Cade or Bust.

Suggs, Cade, Kuminga, Mobley

if we are lucky enough to land in the top5 those would all be incredible picks

Knowing that guys with great potential like Jaylen Johnson, Scottie Barnes, and Ziaire Williams are “consolation” prizes is pretty nice as well.

I do agree that while big wing/combo forward see,s to be the most natural fit, the happenings with KPJ make me more open to another guard in the 6’4-6’6” range if they are the BPA and especially someone as talented as Suggs or Cade

I was looking for the Duke box score and realized they are unranked in Jan. Not many times in my life that has happened!

Giddey looked decent in his first NBL game, think he may end up in the 20-30 range. WIll need to display some shooting or he will just be a Ben Simmons lite

There are several interesting names at the top of the defensive box plus/minus leaderboard. If we're really committed to the SexLand backcourt, these guys could be really nice fits, all generally projected (correct me if I'm wrong) outside of the lottery.

Thoughts on Justin Champagnie?

At a glance, I assume he would do well on your draft rater @Nathan S

Yeah, he sure does. Just saw that in addition to his 31 points, 14 boards, 5 blocks against Duke, he has two 20/20 games so far through 8 games. Crazy stuff.

His 3 point shooting has been subpar, if he could bring that to respectable levels, he might be a player.

The only real knock seems to be his assist rate, but his turnovers are also quite low.

Is it crazy to think he's a PF at the NBA level? At PF, his passing and shooting is totally respectable for a 19-year-old prospect.

I guess it depends on how he measures out.

He’s listed at 6’6 200 lbs, which seems quite small, but his rebounding and block numbers suggest he plays bigger than that.
