So Embiid represented himself on the "negotiations"; does this mean that no agent is taking 10% cut of that 196 cake?

Thats awesome he did. Lots of times the players negotiate less than 10% especially on those easy max contracts....but yes that means he probably paid a lawyer by the hour to look over the contracts, maybe what $10k or so, and did it all him self...saved a ton.

There's no human being that deserves 10% of Joel Embiid, I don't care if you cure male pattern baldness.

Complete bullshit that a lottery team (the Dubs) is scheduled for a National game on Christmas.
Bruh they are gonna be a playoff team next year. Tbh im more surprised Utah is on the XMas schedule. No one really cares about them. Other than Vernon Maxwell

Good trade for both teams. I would have loved to try and pry Culver from the Twolves. Wolves get tougher & Grizz get more length.

beverley looks like he’s about to cry. From Los Angeles and the conference finals to Minneapolis and the lottery! Hope you’ve bought some winter clothes, buddy!

In case you’ve are unfamiliar with Noalytics Data Service.

Noah allows for more detailed answers to that question than were ever possible before, turning what was previously a binary measure — either the shot went in or it didn’t — into something with numerous distinct data points. “That’s what we do,” Carter told FiveThirtyEight. “We take out the guesswork.”

And over the course of 15-plus years and nearly 300 million shots tracked, they’ve found out quite a bit. Did you know that the average jump-shooter is over twice as likely to miss short as they are to miss long, with many NBA players almost four times as likely? Or that players in the right corner tend to miss left more often because they’re subconsciously afraid of hitting the backboard, and vice versa?

Maybe you suspected those things if you’re a basketball die-hard; Noah provides hard proof.

To be fair he always looks like this. I really like him actually, but Pat Bev looks like a legitimate hobo who happened to wonder onto the court and be good at basketball (well defense).

I would take Patrick on this team in a heart beat!

normally he looks like he’s about to punch you for not giving him spare change, not like he’s struggling to hold back tears. Different vibe

I think agents can’t take more than 4% of the on court contracts in the NBA. Definitely only 3% for NFL contracts. They can, however, take 15-20% from endorsement/appearance deals. Either way he saved an absurd amount given he was signing a max.

Culver already getting moved for scraps.

I don’t trust Minny to develop players but damn…

Lost in all the shuffle of shitty trades that make no sense, and Ben Simmons still not being traded, the Kings continue to make me scratch my head on a regular basis.

They hired Mike Longabardi as an asst coach.

i Heard they’re making a sequel to “catch me if you can”. Its going to be about Longabardis nba career
