Lost in all the shuffle of shitty trades that make no sense, and Ben Simmons still not being traded, the Kings continue to make me scratch my head on a regular basis.

They hired Mike Longabardi as an asst coach.

I saw Kings fans on Twitter talk about how he was taught under doc and was a part of those Cavs teams and I felt so sorry for them. They have no idea what they are in for.

Simmons won’t be traded until Morley puts down the pipe and asks for realistic assets in return. Right he asking for 2-3 players (one being a superstar) and multiple (last I heard 3) first rounders.
One: Everybody in the league knows Simmons wants out so nobody is going to meet those demands
Two: After the way he performed in that last playoff series his trade stock is at an all time low!

a superstar and three first rounders!?? Totally delusional

forget a superstar, let alone three first rounders to go with. He'll be lucky if he gets a very good but flawed player (Harrison Barnes, Andrew Wiggins, or CJ McCollum type) who fills a need in return.

This is pretty interesting...Nerlens Noel suing agent Rich Paul.

I shouldn’t feel bad for a multi-millionaire not being an even bigger multi-millionaire, but I do. Just an awful situation and I hope that scumbag Rich Paul loses.

On the surface, it seems like a guy who bought his own hype and got greedy by trusting Rich Paul and turning down the 4/70 million dollar deal while being represented by Happy Walters. The real issue is the possibility that Rich Paul ignored attempts by other teams to engage in talks for Noels services after he got hurt immediately after turning down that deal and taking the QO. Noel cites Brent Brown as an example so that’s would be huge.

The biggest WTF moment is that Rich Paul not only stopped working for Noel but was eating into 4% of his year to year deals he was signing for the minimum. Not only that but that Noel triggered this lawsuit because Klutch Sports wanted to collect the unpaid 200K commission check (they filed a formal grievance with NBA) that was unpaid. Hope that $200K costs him $58 million.

What could make this interesting are whatever emails/texts between Noel and Paul that may exist. Considering the contract he eventually got, what may have been said in those texts could, at a minimum, make Paul look pretty damn bad.

May have been better off just forgetting that $200k.

Man. I think Nekias does a great job breaking things down. I'm going to be sick if KPJ turns out. Definitely a small sample size that he is working from, but it was what most of us KPJ fans thought he would do. I felt comfortable taking Okoro I part because of the offense KPJ brought. It's nice to say we don't need him, but he is exactly what we all want from a wing that we can't get right now.

Very tough to see the hype he is getting in Houston.

The Cavaliers have always been a shoddily run organization whenever LeBron wasn’t here. Being unable to manage KPJ and him going on to be great elsewhere wouldn’t be surprising.

I’ve said this once before on these forums. The guy is nuts. How many times have you seen a head case like him be successful? Maybe Latrell Sprewell? He’s gonna be out of the league in two years.

He’s a child that will lose his shit when Green and Wall get all the attention.

Rondo to the Lakers:

They truly are re-assembling the 2012 NBA all-star team. Like a third of their total roster is from that team.

We missed out on Svi. The Raptors signed him for two years while we overpaid for a backup 4.

Yeah I thought he could help. He is older already though.

Deividas Sirvydis is still available and is young still. He is taller too 6'8". It really seems to me that they are going to package Sexton with next years pick to get somebody else. I don't see how anything else makes sense.

What am I missing with Svi? He seems to be a low TS%, poor defending, negative career VORP scrub. He may be useful as an 8th/9th guy in a rotation, but he'd certainly be behind Sexland, Rubio, Okoro, and Windler for minutes at the 2/3. I haven't seen exactly what Toronto paid him, but I'd have to guess that if we'd have thought him worth the MLE, we could have gotten him.
