I wonder if this means Kyrie and Durant are running the show 100%. Could make Jarrett Allen pretty available.

Last night was the night while Lebron was sitting on his couch watching the Clippers game he realized he could be in big, big trouble. Clippers are clicking on all cylinders now. Kawhi is entering assassin mode. Unless one of George/ Kawhi get hurt by the time the Lakers play them i dont see how the Lakers beat them. Lebron.will have to go in god mode like he did in game 6 vs the Warriors. Clippers with those moves they made are so deep. It will be very interesting to see.

Yeah the Lakers have outperformed my expectation but I always saw then as a severe underdog to a fully functional Clippers machine. The Clips are just so deep and such a great defensive team, and have two of the three best versions of the most valuable player type in the modern NBA -- the do-it-all 6'8" forward who can shoot, make plays, and defend multiple positions.

Wonder if AD leaves if the Lakers can't make it past the Clippers. I guess not because where would he go?

Miami. Play for a first rate GM and first rate coach in the OTHER glamour, warm weather city.

Miami being so good this soon, and so young has to make them really appealing. Throw in the coach, the GM, the stability, and the fact that it's Miami? I'd listen if I were Davis. LeBron ain't gonna be a Laker for much longer.

Dallas PPG differential points to something closer to a 60 win than where they're at. It's the 3rd best in the West behind the LA teams and owuld be 2nd in the East. I dunno if they've been extremely unlucky in close games or what, but they have the best offense in the league and a dude who can legit carry a 7 game series and Porzingis is just NOW starting to round into form.

All teams should avoid at all costs in round 1. OKC is dangerous, but I'd rather play any other 1st round potential opponent. Houston included.

Feel like I have been hearing that the Celtics will "make the leap" for 5 years yet they never do. I don't see it. Have the Bucks and Nets ahead of them for many years to come, not to mention 2-3 more years of LeShowtime, The Clippers, Nuggets, Mavs, GSW, etc. Celtics are a good but not great team.

Tatum is a legit stud now. Him and Brown together are legit

I mean, he is an All Star, but not an MVP level All Star. I think of him like a Paul George on Indiana.

That's reasonable comparison but Brown is such a good 2 way wing as well. He's a much better non cazy version Livingston and that team took LeBron's heat to 7. Teams just dont have guys with their size at the wings who play both sides

They've been dealing with injuries but when healthy they be looked like a contender

We got the best years from him, and it still prob cost us a title when he got hurt in 2015.

He's getting old really fast. I wish it hadn't gone down that way, but at least we got something for him.
I really think he’s cooked. He’s injured constantly and is a head case. His best days are behind him.

Playoff Harden is here to stay. Really making himself look foolish for talking so much shit recently

People still talk about Collin being "all we got", but doesn't everyone spend an extra moment thinking that Collin has never missed a game. Kyrie has missed 3 postseasons if you count this one.

I wouldn't trade them 1 for 1 right now. Love Kyrie, but I think he is just too fragile and there are huge questions whether he can make an impact without LeBron.

Irving is a locker room cancer, can’t lead a team, doesn’t work particularly hard to better his game, is constantly hurt, and team jumps at a moments notice.

I honestly feel like Sexton has a better chance at being something solely due to his work ethic. Take a look at last nights game against the Nuggets and the last few weeks without Clarkson. He’s no worse than Irving was year two.

I wouldn't count Kyrie out so quickly. He was having a great offensive season before he went down this year, and he came back from his catastrophic 2015 injury with two 25 PPG playoff seasons. He just can't be the best player on a playoff team, he's not a winner that way and never was.

Clippers look much better than the Lakers.
Tough matchup.

Edit: I take that back

The Clippers got elite perimeter defenders but they don't have any rim protection. Not sure how you stop Beast Mode Lebron if you don't have a guy like Duncan, Howard, or Chandler making him at least think about taking the jumper.

Clippers are a great team though but if guys like Kuzma and Bradley play defense they way they've been playing they lose the one advantage at the wing they have
