The road to the 2022 NBA Championship has officially begun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fire up those damn rumors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy day for Atlanta

I think Collins is a good example for Sexton.

Sure way different positions, but in year 3 he averaged 21.6/10.1 with 1.6 blocks in 33 minutes 40% from 3 and 5*% overall.

Year 4 shooting was about the same, but Atlanta had a much better roster and he got less shots, so his scoring was down to 17.6/7.4 rebs and 1.2 blocks in 29 minutes.

He played 4 minutes less, but scoring and rebs were distributed more. He wasnt a worse player in year 4, but stats were down as the team got better. I feel this will happen to Sexton. Will anyone offer him a Max? Is Collins worth the max....heck is Collin worth the max? lol

I say Collins is very good, worth close to the max, but not sure if full max. But it would be better to pay Collins a bit too much, than lose him for nothing

PS, if Collins can play with Capella and make it to the semi finals, Allen can play with Mobley.

This is the best highlight sequence of the entire playoffs. Hopefully this is what Okoro is going to be doing for us playing SG next season. That game winning oop to Giannis is going to be Okoro to Mobley!!!!!!!!

1st Woj bomb

I think it is so funny that Griff gave up assets for Adams, extended him, and is now giving up assets to get rid of him. Why was he considered a top 5 GM again? His only good move so far was picking Zion (the most obvious in a decade) and fleecing teams desperate for his elite assets. LAL couldve just waited and gotten AD for way less but Magic got impatient.

He’s on his third coach already going into his 4th season as GM (Alvin Gentry and SVG both got one year under him).

Quotes from Griffin after firing Gentry:

“The wins and losses have very little to do with this,” Griffin said. “This is really about the process. This is about the shared vision of how we’re going to go forward and what this looks like as we build.”

He then turns around and hires SVG, who is the antithesis to what Griffin always bloviates about and predictably that shared vision got blurry in a hurry.

Thanks to this terrible trade for Memphis, Griffin can reset his own mistakes and acquire Lowry or another piece to help save his job.

I’d rather have Adam’s than Jonas. Seems like a decent move.

what is New Orleans logic here though? Is Valanciunas that much better than Adams given that NO has a ton of offense and needs defense? Is it a salary move? Did Adams just not fit in? How does Jonas fit better? I mean, he’s giving up Bledsoe plus a lottery pick just to move SA?

First of all, which Jonas? There are 3 of them, 4 if you count the youngest brother not in the group...or as my daughter calls him, the Bonus Jonas.
