2021 NBA PLAYOFFS MEGA THREAD

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I know I’m late in saying this but Murray was that guy for the Nuggets in last years playoffs who could go off on insane 25-30 point second half’s on Dame Lillard type of range in that NBA Jam “On Fire” mode.

He’s not just another role player around Jokid, he’s a guy who can be an entire offense for long stretches and carry a team on his back for a few games per series. No chance Denver can come back and win this series without him.

Yea but you thought the same thing against Portland.

Not ruling them out just yet because Jokic is insanely good and the PHX role players need to do it on the road first.

But PHX definitely looks like the better team.

Did I? (Serious question, I don’t recall offhand)

That one was 1-1 after 2 games against a less multidimensional team.

This one is about to be 2-0. I do agree that year in and year out we all need to remember how much home court advantage can affect the play of role players, I just don’t see Denver without Murray being able to win 4 of the next 5 games.

Aaron Gordon just not having the type of impact he needs to have. NEeds to be a defensive terror. Needs to be attacking the offensive glass.

Getting none of that out of him the 1st two games.

As far as I can tell, you were the first one to mention it in here. So the question is...why are you hyping it?
It was a question to stimulate conversation! But again there’s always somebody with a smart answer. If you didn’t want to answer it then just ignore the question.

I like Mike Malone but is his schtick to just say his team was soft every time they lose a game?

That's gonna wear old quick..

Just a reminder that CP3 has never made it to a conference finals. This might be his year though. Phoenix winning it all would be a massive upset, nobody had them being this good before the start of the season.

I
I really enjoy watching this Suns team.

Everyone is just fitting together perfectly at the right time.

Idon't think the series is totally over but the NUggets are just outmanned without Murray.

The Suns are the team I'm pulling for the remainder of the way though. They've been a blast to watch. Playing excellent defense in a league that that's become increasingly hard to do.
I love watching the Suns too. They really fit well together and share the ball and move around without the ball. It is fun watching them play basketball. Champ has helped the team to the next level as well as coach Monty.

I love CP3 and I hope this team can win it all.

Yea he did and he was one game away from the Finals and then in typical CP3 fashion got hurt.

Chris Paul continues to prove why he's one of my absolute favorites. Keep going, Phoenix.

It feels like luck might be on Paul's side finally.

Because his injury should have doomed PHX in round 1. He literally didn't a shoot a 3 pointer for like 3 straight games and only made 1 or 2 the entire series.

But then the AD counter injury changed the series again. And now he looks healthy, or close enough. So maybe it's finally his time.

Let me get this straight... you hate that people are talking about?

So, you want to talk about it?
My question was simply asking why is the media hyping his number change again from 23-6(something he has done at least 3 times already). Again not trying to be rude but you have no opinion or don’t want to talk about it that’s fine. But leave the sarcasm at the door step.
I don’t get some people on this board that have this need to talk down to people.....you either have an opinion on something or you don’t. Like I said either answer or post or not.

I wasn’t being sarcastic at all. Just trying to get clarification?

What exactly do you want to talk about?

As far as I’ve seen the media outlets have simply reported that he’s changing his number.

I’m not sure what discussion there is to be had, or that there’s anything to debate here.

I went to the Suns game last night. Decent crowd, I'd say it was about 90-95% full. There were moments where the place was going wild, esp during the second half. Maybe I'm a litttttle biased, but Cavs playoff crowds blewwww Phoenix out of the water. There were games I couldn't hear myself think, the Q was rocking that loud

Someone was telling me how excited they were for this playoff run they're having. It's been 12+ years since they were good. I laughed and said "a lot of people didn't truly care until minimum, conference finals." We were a little spoiled
