NFL Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

I don’t give a shit what the outcome of the pass attempt was

I feel that I've underestimated the media contempt toward Urban Meyer. They seem to be rooting for him to fail. I've even seen articles so petty that they are criticizing the layout of the coffee table in his home for heaven's sake. I have always thought the guy was a bit smug. But, I'm surprised at the venom that has been spewed at him as he starts his Jags tenure. He has certainly made mistakes notably hiring the Iowa training coach and acquiring Tim Tebow. But, the reality is that this Jags roster is terrible. It might even be the worst in the entire NFL. I think a 4 win season would be a decent argument for solid progress to be honest and that isn't a high bar to clear.

I have a feeling there’s some sort of dirt out there on Meyer that hasn’t been reported. I really have no basis to say it, but it just seems weird for a guy to twice step away from elite college programs for “stress/health” related issues, only to take a job in the NFL which is a much higher stress environment.

I also could 100% see the media having beef over the Zach Smith and domestic abuse scandal, which is understandable.

Love the Jaguars hiring Leftwich… If he can manage to win a super bowl with a 6th round pick at QB, pretty sure he can do a little sumthin-sumthin with Trevor Lawrence

Where does this rank in the Front Office Hype Video category @The Oi ?
If you pre-screened this video to a dim room-ful of Chicagoland male boomers, you’d need a squeegee to clean the floors after they left.
