NFL Off-Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ehh, if you think Etienne is a transcendent back, or a piece that really adds something to your offense that you're missing, and you value him that highly, go for it.

I don't think he's that.

I also have James Robinson worth about as much as Chris Carson or James Conner. They're fine. They aren't really a positive on your offense.

Thing is, Meyer flat out said they wanted Toney there, so I think that puts a nail in the coffin of Etienne being considered a transcendent back, at least by the Jags.

I'm guessing that him playing with Lawrence was a big part of the consideration.

Jeeeeeeeeeesus.

Calm down ma'am.

In all seriousness, anyone else seeing Wilson and this entire new rebuild for the Jets as being absolutely destined to fail?

This isn't surprising at all.

She doesn't understand the word "good." She uses it to describe people who fit into a certain mold that she aligns with--instead of using it to mean people who genuinely try to make the world a better place for others.

She is not a good person. Asking the internet to tell her daughter that an entire social media platform "is for whores" is not something a "good" person does.

I hate to see it, because I absolutely love the coaching staff they assembled in New York--but I don't believe in Wilson or their GM.

From a Browns-fan perspective, I'd keep an eye on Saleh and/or Ulbrich when things inevitably fall apart over there.

No doubt in my mind. I'd be absolutely stunned if he succeeds.

What are you hinting at here?
No hints.

I don't have faith in the success of that Jets organization. If things fall apart, coaches will get fired.

I think Saleh and Ulbrich are fantastic coaches. Saleh can be one of the best DC's in the NFL, and Ulbrich is the best linebacker coach in the league. Two to three years out, when things fall apart in New York, they are guys to keep an eye out for.

Unless he has completely different politics than his mom, which i doubt, he will have a hard time being a leader and getting his teammates to like him.

Not sure how much this will affect him, but it will. Cant be a hardcore Q-Anon believer in todays NFL, good or bad, it just wont fly with the vast majority of his teammates.

Its going to be entertaining. The Jets are the new Browns of the NFL for sure.

Gotcha. Wasn’t sure if layered in there was a lack of confidence in longer-term success for Woods.

Nope. We hired the guy we thought was best for the job, and haven't had a chance to evaluate him yet because of the dearth of talent last year.

This year should be a much better barometer of Woods's DC abilities moving forward.

Maybe now that her son is making NFL quarterback money, she won't be spending so much time on the sets of MILF porn shoots.

He reminds me of Drew Lock. Looked amazing in college beating up on shit teams behind an NFL offensive line, but the few times he's played against legit defenses in previous years he was significantly worse. I'd be shocked if he's a starter past his rookie contract. People want to compare this kid to Mahomes, but Mahomes actually played a little better against top competition than he did against the bad teams.
