Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To Gruden's credit, he's started doing the right thing by resigning.
I don't think that was an optional resignation. There was no way Gruden could have stayed the coach. I think his options were resign or get resigned. Like when an exec caught up in a scandal "parts ways" with the company.

Well I think your post is beyond stupid there, guy. so right back at ya!

The whole point is that people praise Lamar the passer. And Lamar the runner is what makes it so easy for Lamar the passer.

He is not an elite QB. But again, let's follow up in january my guy. Gonna be wild when just coincidentally he has his worst game again. Such poor luck :(
This.

The mental gymnastics that Browns fans and many on this form use to denigrate Lamar in a sad attempt to justify why he's not an elite QB are Nadia-esque.

Don't know who posted it, but the take "Well, his throws are easier because teams have to cover the run" is beyond stupid. That's the point! That's what makes Lamar such a dangerous weapon.

Oh yeah, and he's about 2 years younger than Baker.

Has he gotten it done in the playoffs yet? Not yet, but neither has any AFC QB not named Mahomes.

It sucks but stop kidding yourself.

I'm confused. If two people are making decisions, and one has 51% say on disagreements, doesn't that person, in reality, have 100% control? :chuckle:
also why would a interim coach have 49% control of the roster

With hair like Mark Davis’s involved there’s no way Gruden was going to get off the hook.

Also, sounds like Mark was strongarmed by the NFL to can him.

Dude called the commissioner of the NFL, the organization that he now and previously worked for, a faggot (and plenty of other things as well). You can't realistically expect to keep your job after that. I doubt there are many people in the world with the type of job security to pull that off.

So EA Sports is taking Gruden out of Madden completely because they're committed "to taking action in maintaining a culture of inclusion and equity" but Antonio Brown calls white people crackers and gets to still run routes :chuckle:

I'm not going to bat for Gruden, I'm just in the disagreement boat of destroying a person for wrong doings, and giving others slaps on the wrist for very wrong doings. Gruden hurts feelings, but there are players playing that hurt actual people/females in general. If you're going to send one to the sun, send em all.

I’m not sure why people keep comparing Gruden to players who have had legal trouble. The league will continue to turn a blind eye to player misconduct off of the field so that they can squeeze every drop out of them.

Also, players like Brown are typically cut before getting another chance. The Raiders, the same team that “fired” Gruden (he resigned), actually cut Brown, so not sure what that comparison does. Now, no team will likely give Gruden another chance like the Pats and Bucs did Brown, but once again, there’s a difference between a player and a coach. If Gruden was a player that ran a 4.3 he’d likely get another chance. I’d imagine if the Bosas sent texts similar to what Gruden said and it surfaced that a team would probably give them another chance given their talents. Players =/= coaches.

No, I get it, coaches are leaders, father/uncle figures that have to represent and live a strict life, no fuck ups once so ever, well, maybe besides cheating on your wife. But who knows, the marriage could be open. None of our business. My main thing is the EA Sports headline in transitioning away from Gruden while others can disobey that.
