Super Bowl LVI - Ohio vs Odell

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Keep talking shit, Moz.

2 TDs since your “poverty franchise” comment.

We Vikings fans have a pain kink.
Probably includes a cold bath, a horned helmet and a sturdy woman.

It's kind of brutal being a fan of Minnesota pro sports teams. The Vikings haven't been in a Super Bowl since the Tarkenton days, the Wolves have never even made the Finals and their stars always are better off when they leave (think of the Kevins and how they won rings once they finally got out of Minnesota), and the Twins last won a World Series when I was in Kindergarten. The hockey team is newer, but the Wild haven't won anything yet, either.

Yes us Cleveland sports fans feel so bad for Minny sports with all of our Super Bowl apparances and success of our other teams. We litterally have 1 championship over the last 170 sport seasons.

The Browns were champions several times, but before the Super Bowl era, admittedly. And the most recent sports championship (Cavs 2016) is much more recent than Minnesota's, which was 30 years ago. Cleveland is also just one city in Ohio, whereas the whole state of Minnesota is behind the MN teams. Live in the state of MN, and there's just nothing to get excited about sports-wise, historically, other than the Twins from ancient days.

Almost none of us remember the Browns 1964 victory, so that doesnt county.

At the one team in the state is just a lack of population outside of the Twin cities.

But no victories since 1980's is valid for sure.

I'd rather be consistently bad and have no expectations than a team that consistently is good enough to give you hope and expectations just for them to be smashed in my face in the most dramatic of fashions.

Then again, I've been numb for every heartbreaking loss they've had since 09. They can't hurt me any further. Just laugh and move on with my day. "Typical Vikings".

I have to think the last champ out of the state had to be the '91 Twins? I remember that team quite well (especially since they gave the Blue Jays, then on the rise, the BOOT in the ALCS).

Man.
