We can put all the chatter that isn't pick-related in here.

Deshaun Watson is still available from Houston.

Poor Joe Burrow...

Really intrigued for moving down from 16. Willing to move well into the 20s.

Poor Joe Burrow...

Was thinking the same... dude got broke last year and the FO passes up on the opportunity to protect him. Questionable, at best. :chuckle:

What's the "~20 sexual harassments lawsuits pending" discount? Pittsburgh has an aging QB to replace and experience turning young, sexually aggressive quarterbacks into upstanding citizens. Do I get a booklet of free massage coupons with a deal?

Man, the Lions are in a shitty position. May as well just go BPA.
I love the commitment to BPA.

You have the ability to actually build an offense that generates mismatches. Get a strong power-run game with two tight-end sets, zig while the NFL defenses zag towards stopping the pass.

If this happened in real life, I imagine the Lions would trade down.

tbh, I think there is a non-zero chance the Lions actually do take Pitts if Chase isn't there, and I'm not sure there would be a lot of incentive for a team to trade up.

My pick basically made itself. Might have taken Chase over Sewell but I wanted one of the two.

@Randolphkeys and @Hurl Bruce what are the "rules" for overnight drafting? I know we want to keep things moving, but is there a duration that leads to a pick being forfeited? Asking for my sleep cycle.

In the past it was like 12 hour ish. If you know you will be longer leave a list with Randolph and he will pick the top one (or however you set it up) for you to keep things moving and do your info when ya can get on.

Personally I would have went OT for the Bengals not WR. Just mostly because trenches should always come first in building a roster in my mind.

I love Chase, but yeah I think the Bengals' number one priority should be keeping Burrow alive, and it's not like they're bad at WR with Higgins and Boyd.

The Bengals for once will be drafting BPA. I’m not of a fan of the Duck who plays OT. I see Chase as a true generational talent like AJ Green and Chad Johnson were. He was #1 on my board in regards to Cincy. The history and connection with Joe made it a no brainer. Still many options left to fill the OLine void.

When I've done slow drafts, I have usually paused the "timer" from 11pm to 9am EST. I'd say that if you have a pick that is late one night, have something ready by 10am.

Neither AJ Green nor Chad Johnson were generational prospects, and neither is Chase in my opinion. I think Lawrence is the only generational prospect in this draft FWIW.

Generational may be too much, I agree. Multi All-Pro talent.
