StandardUmp was inspecting Shaws glove as he went to the dugout. Is this now standard or random?

His hold on the BOR may be tenuous as well if he doesn’t snap out of his funk.Plesac looks like our #5 starter now…
What, you weren't fascinated when Alex had Mo'ne Davis show us how she used to hold all her pitches?Actually, I AM old. But these guys make the Cleveland announcers look and sound great.
Believe it was Shaw who got the DP ball in the 8th, not Witgren.Quantrill now has a 1.50 ERA over his last seven starts. He's pitching like a Cy Young winner.
The Indians outscore the Angels 17-2 to take the last series ever between the Angels and Indians. Next year we'll have a couple of Guardian Angels series.
Two batters in we have two runs and then score only one from there. That's been pretty typical lately.
It's been taking Karinchak three batters to find his curve ball. Until he's thrown about five of them he can't get it over and is a one-pitch pitcher. For him to pitch up to his potential he needs to be able to start throwing strikes with his curve to the first batter, not the third or fourth.
What a job by Wittgren to get the guy who leads the A.L. in hits to ground into a double play and get us out of the inning.
Nice defensive game by the Indians. Great plays by Mercado and Josie to steal hits and they made all the routine plays flawlessly, except Amed should have spun the other way on the infield single.
Zimmer had no chance against the lefties ( 3 K's) but managed to ground out against the right-hander to avoid the Golden Sombrero. Josie and Franmil had bad days at the plate but Amed came through with the two-run jack and that was all Quantrill needed.
The said the Angels have scored the fourth fewest runs in baseball since the break. Without Trout and Rendon I believe it. We caught them at a good time.
Actually it was the other whipping boy (Bryan Shaw) that induced the double play ball on Sunday night.......

Hmm sinker ball pitcher starts throwing 4 seamer transforms career. Sound a little like Garret Cole?Quantrill now has a 1.50 ERA over his last seven starts. He's pitching like a Cy Young winner.

Oh how baseball fans have short memories.Plesac looks like our #5 starter now…
I'd attribute his success more to his cutter. Based on runs above average stats:Hmm sinker ball pitcher starts throwing 4 seamer transforms career. Sound a little like Garret Cole?
Did anyone else hear his interview?
Incredibly inciteful takes on staff building and what they’re into from a development perspective.
A national audience has to appeal to a broader audience.. Arod is by no means a mensan.. and wouldn't be the kind of color analyst you're looking for w/r to popularism as it relates to baseball.. He's just a wealthy former player who could really play, has a "safe" ability to articulate & does no harm first.. Milque toast.. sure.. hard hitting.. only when he played.. Matt Vasgersian, on the other hand, has been a play by play guy for a long time (Santa Maria !!) in both television as well as radio, mostly on the west coast (Padres, Angels..etc). His tone is clearly toned down for national broadcasts.. In a long winded way.. the Indians announcers.. both radio and TV blow by ARod.. but are equal to but not better than Matty-V.. imho..Actually, I AM old. But these guys make the Cleveland announcers look and sound great.
