I've never seen that happen before. The Indians dugout was all over it. What a break. No way Mercado scores if he's not interfered with. He was out by 15 feet, would have been 10 feet if he wasn't bumped. Unbelievable.

Thanks to multiple interference, he lost two steps between 2nd and 3rd, and another step rounding 3rd--so let's say he'd have been out at home by only five feet (if that).

I think that's an automatic call, if the ump thinks the interference happens half way to the next base, he can be awarded two bases.

Great win! Lots of heroes; Josie, Hedges, also Straw, Mercado, Chang, and Amed had big hits. Hey, why didn't Chang pinch hit last night?

The Indians came very close to sweeping this series. In the end it was a one-run differential after three games. It will be interesting to see if they can compete as well next weekend in Fenway. They might have Harold back by then and Bradley will have a few more games under his belt.

Agree, good win and glad the team didn’t fold down 4-0. However, I think the Red Sox are overrated and the weakest wild card contender in the AL. Beyond Denver’s and Martinez, their lineup doesn’t impress nor does their starting rotation, IMO. Nonetheless, glad Tribe avoided getting swept.
