2021 Season | Series #45 | Indians @ Twins | Sep. 14-15, 2021

Double Double..

Two runs.. nice..

Mercado bounces a single up the middle and eventually scores on a double off the RF wall by Amed.

Amed scores on Joses double into the LF corner.

A question for those who still think that Harold should be on the roster next year...

Why Harold over Mercado as a RH fourth OF?

Hint: Mercado hits lefties slightly better, and there is no debate over defense and base running.

Franmil knocks in Jose...and we play with a three run lead.

Only speaking for myself here, but I see no logical reason.

Bottom of the Tribe order goes quietly.. not much of a fight there..

Mercado bonehead throw to 3b. Eliminates DP possibility. Cost Allen a run.

It's not unlucky that Bobby Bradley is positioned EXACTLY RIGHT WHERE THE BALL WENT.. it's defense...

...the double by Jeffers.. was a mistake pitch RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PLATE HANGING !.. this happens way too often with Allen on the mound..

Why either? I think Mercado is slightly more usable but I see no need for both him and Zimmer.

Allen would have been out of the inning, and still in the game with the lead, if Zimmer was playing right, instead of Franmil.

A good RF would have been able to get to the ball. An excellent RF would have made the play.
